I wish you could understand how many of us "outdoorsy" people can relate with just mentally shutting down in an anxiety-ridden hurricane when transplanted into nature with 214,519 (give or take) other humans. Incredible footage, and an absolutely incredible video again, brother. Safe travels!

love the video - YNP is one of my favorite places - my son worked there for 7 or 8 years and it was always a great pleasure to visit! One thing to be aware of -- flying drones is illegal in the park and the rangers, if they catch you they are merciless...

New to your channel. Thanks for the honesty. For me getting out in nature is my medicine for stress and anxiety. I can’t even imagine trying to document it in videos like yours! I’m loving the content, but would say sometimes just be present with nature! I love the style of your videos, the music, the behind the scenes stuff. All of it. I should be so lucky to see these things in person, let alone be able to capture this footage! You are seriously talented! I hope more people find your channel, it’s just outstanding!

That would be a great time to visit. We really wanted to time it out to be there when the bison calves were fresh. But elk rut would be an awesome thing to see!

Really enjoyed this video. Everything from the slow-motion videos of the Bison on the move to the Coyote out hunting amongst the Bison herd. Good musical score as well - fits perfectly with the footage. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more video.

Such STUNNING footage of the scenery as well as these majestic animals ! I also LOVE seeing YOU and your obvious gift of photography in the video. The music chosen as the bison made their way through that river was so moving and only adds to the experience of viewer . Twenty three hours of driving is a super human feat in of itself so total mental exhaustion is understandable,yet you still delivered this incredible footage !

What an amazing video! I just love the baby bisons. It was so cool to see the coyote in the wild. I could not believe its coloring and how healthy it looked. It is so beautiful. Once again another eye opening and learning video for me . ❤❤

Question: do you get permits to film in the national parks? Because apparently people are getting $5000+ fines for filming in national parks and posting on RU-vid because they violated the (insane) commercial filming rules NPS is enforcing since 2022.

I do not. In my experience, they are only interested in large scale productions. If you read the NPS website, they are not actively enforcing the rule, and only taking action when someone complains. Since it’s just me, with a camera, I don’t think they care. I often like to chat with the rangers at the national parks, because they have so much knowledge about the wildlife, and none has ever said anything about a permit. I’m not worried about it, and don’t think it’s something they will ever enforce with someone like me.

@@FoxandFir OK, I'm planning a visit and have read about YT'ers (van life channels) getting hit with fines. Seems insane to me. I'm planning a trip this year to that area and will probably post a video. The rules on the NPS website are murky at best. They say they aren't interested in people like us but then say anybody posting to TikTok or YT ar commercial and need a permit regardless of size.

@@jessejayphotography Yeah, they are really ambiguous. In my experience, there are THOUSANDS of photographers shooting there every single day, and per their definition, anyone posting anything to the internet is considered commerical. There is no way they are inforcing this, unless there are issues. Most national park websites outline that the only people that need a permit, would be someone that requires services beyond what a normal park guest would need. Like access to other locations, extended hours of use, traffic control, etc.
