Hi all! My name is Josh Lichter, and this is a page for my wildlife adventures! I love wildlife, and the experience of taking the photos is almost as important as the photos I take! ✌️
Love from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada! Camper and camping - perhaps that is the way to go and to top it off - the Great Lakes region, especially Wisconsin, Minnesota, northern Michigan, northwestern Ontario - not many people cover our region. Btw, when camping in northern Wisconsin, you may run into grey wolves haha. So be ready with whatever your camera equipment is, to get a photo or two of those elusive animals.
Honestly, I think they are kind of useless. We have them on both of our vehicles and I never really use them. They have slight blind spots, and I don’t fully trust them.
Absolutely love the video Josh, honestly you look more relaxed. Love the personal story too. I love all of your videos and watch them until the end. I found you because I watch so many Wyoming videos. Any wildlife anywhere is wonderful. The barn owls are just amazing. Keep doing you.
Great video. Love the drone footage. We never get to see the area from that vantage point. Looking down at it is very beautiful. Maybe a fall adventure with some waterfalls. The color up there is breath taking. Cooking is not for everybody. You did a great job. Loved it all. Glad to see you are back.
I grew up in central Michigan, and we spent almost every summer driving around the UP, along with that part of southern Canada. Tahquamenon Falls, Manistique, Newberry, Paradise and Marquette were family hunting meccas. Watched the ocean freighters navigate the Soo Locks, rode bicycles on Mackinac Island, and many others. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
So happy to see you back! It’s crazy I haven’t run into you. I’ve been in the Lake Superior/UP area for the past almost month. I can confirm the insanity of mosquitoes and biting flies (and that’s coming from someone from Florida). Safe travels, friend!
Love it! Such a beautiful location… those drone shots are lovely. I was laughing at your commentary while cooking!! 😂 So fun! Also, your sound is awesome!
What a great surprise to see that you posted a new video!!! Thank you for sharing your adventures. The running time was great and the B roll footage was amazing
Great video, I've never been to Michigan but I've heard ii's a beautiful state. Nice shots man! Loved the drone shots of the lake and everything else, nature is the place to be no matter where disperse camping is the way to go!
SO great to see you back Josh !! The drone footage of the area was absolutely breathtaking and the sounds of all things nature just elevated the experience. I also thoroughly enjoyed the hilarious commentary from being afraid to open the camper door related to the army of flies to your cooking skills or lack there of had me laughing out loud ! Just another beautifully done video and I could not have been happier to enjoy more of your work ! BRAVO !!!
I just returned from Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and simply loved them both. They are such beautiful places to visit. I was able to see a variety of wildlife like black bears, grizzlies, bisons, coyote, bighorn sheeps, elks, etc. The only animal that I did not spot was the wolf. Amazing places and can't wait to return.
I honestly came to your channel for the wildlife but hey I am here for the camping too! Just recently purchased a camp trailer for our family and for hunting between WA and ID. So I am here for it all! Can’t wait to see what you show!
YES! I have been there many times, and it's gorgeous! Unfortunately, every time I go, it's very difficult to film a video there. I usually just end up taking a few photos.
The business may have failed, but you didn't. You tried your hardest and produced better than good videos. Don't beat yourself up over it. We take our knocks, learn our lessons for the next time and move on. I'm betting you'll be back. Good luck.
Sorry you’re going through a rough patch and I’m really sorry you had to sell your equipment. Hang in there my friend, I love camping videos, especially in Wisconsin, my home state!!
Than you so much, I really appreciate the support! Im glad you like the camping ones! Im hoping to really showcase how beautiful Wisconsin and the midwest can be!
You’re not a failure Josh! Your wildlife videos are amazing and you should not feel badly about anything. The only failure is not trying at all! Best wishes for your future endeavors!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I put a lot of time and effort into the quality, so I'm glad it showed. It also cost SOOO much, so that might of been both a blessing and a curse haha.
I sold everything last year because I got over extended and my company announced it was closing. Luckily I found a great job and got some extra signing money to buy back my gear. I hope it comes back to you.
I don't think you failed! Too bad it didn't work out for you right now with wildlife, but im stoked for your future camping videos! Would love to get something similar myself! Looking forward to your next video!
Did you have fun? I think you would say yes. So move on and do what ya gotta do. I appreciate what you have done. Just have fun and do what ya gotta do to pay the bills and if you do wow so many people can’t say that.
Man! I only recently found your videos and I really like them. I’m bummed for you. But, keep in mind you could buy all the equipment in the world and it wouldn’t mean a thing if you didn’t have talent. You may have sold your gear but your talent is still there. That’s the important thing. You are still better than before you started. Before you had no gear and no experience to pull from. Now you have experience and the knowledge that you can turn out a great product. Regroup and attack it again. Eventually you’ll find the recipe to make it financially viable. Good luck. I look forward to watching your future videos.
Thank you so much for the support, and sticking around! Its a tough pill to swallow at first for sure, but im really hoping that its just a small bump in a long road of success 🤞
So sad to see you have to push the pause button on your wildlife videos. I really enjoyed them. They were a way to get away without the 18 hour drive. I am sure you will find a way to keep us entertained with your videos. You are great at making videos.
Hi Josh! I can totally relate this matter and it's unfortunate that an algorythm decided what dreams can we or not chase. However, I also have the same situation only that I started as a camping channel, but then I also have passion for photography (not just wildlife) but also LANDSCAPE which pairs with camping very well. And it's hard but I feel that even if you closed this door temporarily it's not all over for your path I believe, your content is great! and I am sure it will continue in the future.
Thank you so much for sharing! I am really hoping to continue, and maybe this will open more paths than just wildlife ever did. Who knows! Thanks for the support!
I’m sorry you are having to make this decision but I understand. I’ve always enjoyed your wildlife videos. We love camping so I will continue to watch. Stay safe
You had super quality work. Sadly now days that does not always mean success. I had a similar issue with a real estate media company. Wrong timing on several levels. Spent 2-3 yrs learning non stop and frankly was not impressed with realtors for a boss as I neared retirement. after 45 yrs in the work place. I retired and my photo hobby is very alive and well. My business model did not work as planned. You have skills so simply pay attention and you are young. New chances are probably on God’s drawing board as you post this video.
Thank you. I know that this is not a sprint, but a marathon and im just going through a rough part right now. I still have hopes and dreams that this will be a career at some point, but I'll just have to wait a bit longer.
