Thank you so much for what you do, love all the adventures, the content you film you go over and beyond to help us all😀One of my favorite is when you look under the microscope, the colors are so beautiful, gold, gems, rocks its all good. All of your family is so cool. May God bless you all.
You and Pauly have really rejuvenated my lifelong love of amateur geology and rockhounding in a big bad way. Getting awfully tempted to try my hand at gold panning again, considering on my first attempt as a kid I found two pickers in my first pan!
As a Midwestern American who moved to southern Oregon 2 years back... Dan and Pauly have been part of my education in prospecting.... I have begun the claim process.... Maps and more maps, section by section... The more you study and watch, the more you learn, a curious man starts to forge ahead and go further down the rabbit hole... Zamboni, you in the States?
What a beautiful place to find microscopic gold! Even though there wasn’t much gold, the scenery was great! All the colors pop when it’s overcast or raining. Thanks again for the great photography!
Your personality is so incredibly genuine that you probably, with some but not an extraordinary amount of effort, could convince me that you can actually shrink down to a tiny little man. I'm pretty sure Post10 can.
I don't mind watching you find nothing. All about the adventure in the end. People like you, Jeff and Doc have inspired me into finding gold and while the first few trips have been lack luster (hur hur), I'll keep pressing at it knowing that even the best of the best have hard luck sometimes. Thank you Dan!
Microscope material looks ever so pretty dan... Good for you...for protecting ur locations- YOU put in the hard work.not only physically but academically! Best wishes from a big supporter of your channel...and happy thanksgiving, may you and ur family continue to be blessed ☺️👍
Glad to see you sampling these creeks going up those hillsides. Put an X on that one. You can get gold but the effort is greater than the worth. Maybe one day your kid will be looking at your maps and saying my dad already tested there. Yes, we love you just looking and really enjoy it when you find some. God bless👍
great video today dan!! all that climbing will keep you fit for your future hikes and again those views are bloody amazing wow your so lucky look forward to your next adventure x
The Order of Good Cheer in Nova Scotia the Planters had the first Thanksgiving long before the Pilgrims ! Happy turkey day Dan love the prospecting gold recovery videos like !!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you Dan...In Rhode Island it is Halloween today!.. anyways thanks for the video.. the scenery was gorgeous. Good luck on your next adventures!⛏️👍✨
That is a beautiful spot with amazing views! The family loved the video. We were wondering if there was any update on the feather pendant? Much love from California.
First ore sample Looks Terrific! It’s always good to bring two small light pans.. pan in pan with only a small amount of water 🤓 this is a must in high desert areas like I have around here! Beautiful looking second pan.. see a bit of copper/malachite.. humm no gold Beautiful area, very pretty microscope shots ✌️PT
thank you for draging us along! could you next time find one that you dont need to be a mountain goat to climb up? any way that was a super great time no?, I could almost bet the gold was hiding under them brambles, that would be where i most likely find it the way my luck runs!!
I can spend hours on a little creek like that. Beautiful! A creek with no name. Lets name it. Have a contest. Blue Dan Ube. Sounds like a good name. Thanks Dan. Really enjoyed.
Great vid as always. What you say after 4:30...thats the gold to me. I never understood how the gold got from the matrix to the riverbed. Now I know. I feel smarter. :) The geology part is so interesting. And critical. You explain it so well. Maybe an episode talking more about the geology of gold mining? I think others might like that as well. Love the channel. Cheers.
Would it be easier to come in higher and work your way down ? Clearing a few places to bedrock (simi-flats/pockets) setting "traps" that you can check periodically ? The pieces look pretty rough, like you're getting close to the source. Best of luck
Gotta luv it , Dan calls a Creek a River and a River a Creek ;) Right Brain/Left Brain Dominant... Just used my Super Sluice for the first time today and it is an impressive pan...now to find more gold at Yale Public reserve.
Dan I'm terribly sorry you did not find that gold you were looking for. It certainly seemed to have sentimental value the way you spoke of it. And it's not often us viewers see you get skunked like that. Wishing you the very best in the next hunt.
I thought I had already entered the microscope draw but now I can't find it. So I will enter here. If two show up, please discard one. I would not use the microscope though, but could sure use a bag of pay dirt. My sister and my best friend, both in care, really enjoy when I visit and do a little panning for them. Thanks for including me in the draw Dan.
I'm curious Dan, did you grab any crush samples out of the creek? There was some good looking quartz but it may not be far enough along in the alluvial system to be eroded enough to release its treasure.
The funniest thing about this video is all the "first" ppl who are actually wrong :) Keep it up Dan! Oh and I think you should try a tad lower down in the creek in a place where it flattens out a bit as it's bound to be collecting all the fine stuff somewhere and it may be lifted by frost and ice during winter below those boulders in the steep hill.
as always good video, It does not matter whether you have a lot of gold or nothing just proves that any day could be a hit or miss and keep them videos coming cheers
Its hard working in spots with material like that with sumwhat deep bed rock but its somthing i have ran in to a lot when looking for the source .thanks for the vid
i grew up near a creek we would explore as kids, LOADED with quartz, always found 'gold' but always got blown off as 'fool's gold' , pyrite, by the adults, they could have been right, but from watching your videos over last cpl months....it's got me wondering now
