Wow! huge amount of gold, for such a short run. Pickerton might be the best place I have ever run a highbanker. And after this first little test run catching great gold and pickers I can see running a full day here could be very rewarding with a lot of gold as a return. Unfortunately this time around I did not have much time, and my Water pump packed it in on me. So I had to cut the High Banking trip short.

I used to work three claims in South Dakota Black Hills with my uncle back in the early 70s when I was a little tike. I don't know how I came across your videos but I love them and now you make me wish I were back in the hills. My brother and I used to run up and down and all through the standby mine before it was all torn down. Just had rotator cuff and hip surgery but maybe I'll get a vacation out there next year. Although I'm sure all the ground is claimed. I am a new subscriber at 99.4K.

Excellent video Dan! Purchase a 90 degree elbow for your Highbanker blue pipe. That way, the pipe won't kink, and your pump needs less power. Merry Christmas!

Wouldn't it be more efficient on pump gas etc to fill up 5 gallon pails with dirt then run it through the high banker? Seems with that hard digging the pump runs a lot when you are digging and for a little dirt. You are the expert but what am I missing? Always a fan Jeff Trag!

The ground hogg box is the best.. I love that box the 7 or 8 levels is way cool. When I come on holiday and I'm planing a 1 month trip. Would need a permit to say that I'm a miner not a tourist I'm going for 7 grams a day..

😂🤣🤣I don't stop just get on my knees. Knee pads work boots and when I'm tyetd it's on the knees.. So comfy.. Im a x roffer and belive I can work tons a day. I used to lift 12 pallets of slates up a three part ladder up down up down all day.. I no I could shift the dirt...

Getting old sucks. Well it beats the alternative for sure but sucks the same. I don't do winters so well anymore. I always want one of the Mini High Bankers. Never did anything about it. You have quite a pile of accumulated equipment at hand. Yes you should add a Mini High Banker to the mix. Thank for the Video.

Nice gold! Rule #1 though...ALWAYS carry a toolbox, even a small one! Question: do you ever take a break from working your claims on the Frasier and do any fishing there? There are some trophy class Trout and Sturgeon in that stretch of the river and dunno bout anyone else, I find fishing just as relaxing and rewarding as finding gold or just prospecting for it. Darn it man I wish I were there when that happened. I have a 1999 5k generator now my back up since I purchased a new Duel fuel Genny, Yes 1999 original every thing still works !! except gas grommet on gas tank replaced.. I live in Florida Power outages aplenty. Hundreds if not more hours on it. Typical Briggs problem. Do not know if yours is briggs, the basic design probably the same. The fix is to smack the TOP of the recoil assy HARD with the meaty portion of your hand as many times as it takes to make it grab !!! The parts you speak of get stuck from moisture or cold sometimes.I have never taken mine apart just smack it !! called Percusion Maint. Mine pulled that when I went out to start it during the Eye, before the other side of the Hurricane hit. WORKED !!! try it. Oh I forgot until I was reminded by my wife that a rubber mallet was in order a couple times..not too hard,just enough.. Good Luck and Good Gold hunting. I am jealous we do not have that luxury in Florida, AU that is. Every fishing vid I look at up north I wonder how much gold in that river,creek or stream..

You sir have inspired me to go wander arouund some of the locations in the UK that allow recreational panning etc, im also intending to go poke around of a few of the beaches for Fossil finding as ever since i was a kid ive had a collection of store bought stones and minerals and i'd like to add bits and bobs that i myself have found! Your demeanour(sp) and knowledge are wonderful! .... now if only i could attain such a magnificent beard :P
