Made me laugh when you tried to get him to reveal his secrets, Jodie and he got this distracted, "I can't hear you" look on his face -- before rushing over to get in a few playful tastes of your face lol! And his Nan gets so put out when he digs and she scolds him but you can tell K'ey isn't fooled, he knows she gets a kick out of his antics as we all do -- including K'ey himself! And that seems to be the major secret: "I don't CARE where it leads, Mum. I just know it's a hecking good time. You ought to try it sometime -- but NOT when I'm using it!" My husky would dig like that when I took him outside, and my golden retriever would dig like that under trees and on her sofa. It’s a mystery we humans will never know. as a carpet installer i can tell you even if you are not seeing damage at the moment, it is breaking down the glue between the carpet layer and the backing. the floor will eventually start to wrinkle up and become unrepairable.

I know I have said it many times, but Key digs indoors either from over excitement or anxiety. Other reasons, which I doubt Key is suffering from could be: - Boredom - I cannot imagine Key is ever bored with all the attention he gets - Finding food - I also think this to be highly unlikely, as I am sure he is well fed, as is apparent by a lot of the videos of him eating - Finding a cozy place to sleep - This is highly unlikely as we can all see from the videos he has a very good home I would be interested to know why he keeps digging indoors so much.
