I refuse to live in fear so I keep my eyes on god and read the word each day and follow with prayer. Then take the time to listen for that quiet voice of the holy spirit!

Here in NJ I have very few friends my own age but most are 20 to 30 years older than me just because today’s younger generation is just wired differently. There are many things that happen today that I have NO Control over, so I choose not to get sucked into the drama because then I am affected when I don't want to be affected. The things I do have power over I do what I can and do my best to bring positivity to those who need it.
So true. When we focus on problems, we get more problems. But, when we focus on the solutions, we have more solutions. Go to God. HE has all the solutions!! BTW - I call mowing the lawn "therapy work." Great message.

Wow! Great video to start my morning! Good reminders. Been sitting in the storm (Literally, in FL and dealing with Debby and no power for 2 days) and feeling low. Now, today, I'm inspired to get busy canning some meat from the freezer. Grateful for our little country church and our Bible Study last night, too. We know meeting w/our brothers and sisters and studying the Word is the best use of our time. Thanks for the tips!
LOVE it! Great list you guys! I'm an oldie but when my kids were little I always told them that the surest way to joy is to be of service to another. And along those lines have you heard the balloon story? It goes something like this......A teacher gave balloons to each student and asked them to blow them up. Then she asked them to write their own names on them. Then she picked them all up and threw them all out into the hallway. She then told the students to go and find their own balloon as fast as they could. Well you can imagine how well that went. Then she told them to stop, pick up the balloon closest to them and take that balloon to it's owner and within just a couple of minutes everyone had their own balloon proving that serving others is far better than serving yourself.

I stopped watching and listening to the news years go. The best decision I ever made. I do check the weather, and if something might be happening that I need to be aware of to protect me.

Excellent video, we're right there with you...I'm not a fan of the news..my hubby however is..I literally walk thru the living room with earth plugs, averting my eyes so I can go back to bed and not have that fear mongering trash filtering into my dreams...stay in the word, stay in fellowship...watch wonderful testimonials and share them...Trust in the Lord with all your heart..just found your channel..love it❤

As long as you stay focused on God & allow His Holy Spirit to lead, you just can’t go wrong🙏🏼The most important thing that I have is my perpetual intercessory prayer ministry🙏🏼 We must remember that there are folks that don’t know our Heavenly Father, so I believe it is my job to lift up my brothers & sisters all over the world in prayer to my Heavenly Father. I can never stop praying for them because I maybe the only one interceding on their behalf & what if they aren’t in Heaven because I gave up on praying for them. I am 76 years old & on a very limited income, so I may not have the sources to do much, but nothing can keep me from lifting up my fellow man in prayer. So don’t ever think that you can’t help others as long as you can pray🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 I have prayed for you guys for several years now & I will continue till Jesus returns🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

God activity choose government leaders, and led his believers to stand against evil rulers. When the Church hides and shuts up...abortion rules the land... transvestites get taught in elementary schools...evil, anti God rulers get in Government and rot the system. Jesus is not coming back for a bunch of cowards waiting to escape these troubled times. My church is so liberal you get sucked up into their liberal agendas, so I don’t ever go. Too many bad experiences of people preaching their agenda trying to force themselves into their environment.

You know, I absolutely LOVED this video. I’ve been sooooo down-in-the-dumps or depressed lately, I really needed to listen to you tonight! I have always been the person that has always extended a hand to help others, and I have loved doing so. With the way our Country is going and the health issues I’ve had for nearly six months now, I haven’t been “me”, doing for others. It gives me a lot of joy. I am working to get where I was “before”, but with the way our Country is slipping into either communism, socialism, or marxism (take tour pick), I feel overwhelmed with anger, fear and (& I’m embarrassed to say it) hate for those trying to destroy the USA. You’ve lifted me tonight, John and Mercedes, I just hope I can get up and DO something important. All I want to do is escape, but that won’t solve anything. Hate to be a spoiler but have you ever watched Walking Dead? Not for the zombies but for the stories of survival. One thing that struck me about your list is that you are assuming that there arent bad people who havent prepped like you guys that wont storm your camp and take everything.
