I ran an experimental session with my group a few days ago, kind of nervous about whether or not my players will like the horror eldritch aspect of the game, especially when we're all more used to high-fantasy TTRPGs but Lo and Behold we had A BLAST playing the game even alone with the quick-start guide. I legit can't wait to buy the core-book! I have no doubt that Spenser and Rowan and basically everyone who's worked on this have done a PHENOMENAL job with it. Love them both

"Who's more menacing?" I read somewhere (caveat) that pursuing this kind of content was Taliesen's idea. But when he was the GM, it was judged "too scary". At least for now. I'd still love to see him at the helm, now that Spenser has bumped the horror level. 🙂

Great interview! Really informative discussion regarding the uses of inspiration sources and the melding of lore and mechanics. You can tell that careful thought went into the structure and narrative focus of rules and world building. Awesome to see Xander deftly fielding questions, since he’s been so prolific in the Liveplay space. Keep up the great work you all.

Spencer is a wonderful storyteller. I hope we get to see him actually play the game. Matt also. And Aabryia. I love the fact that these are short form stories that...hopefully...allow for our favorite gms and players to get involved and get to play. I'm dying to know what choices they would make in terms of characters and backstory and experience their creativity in such a free form game play style.

I love the concept of this game. It's a breath of fresh air. Both of the first two run thru games have been wonderful and I'm already hooked on the new case after only one episode. I'm having big trouble understanding how the mechanics work but that's mostly because I'm a hands on and visual learner. I would love to get visuals on dice rolls and character sheet mechanics as they do it and make changes so I can actually see it.
