As james said make sure you get a 2013 and up Performance package. Watch the ptu(transfer case). The 13 and above should have a drain plug most people do 10k interval flush. I have a 12, no plug just mityvac it out every oil change because im ocd about it and already put a new one in.
for your budget, I recommend looking at the sho again but a 2013+ model. lots of upgrades in and out. Not to mention a simple tune will put this vehicle onto the 12's in the quarter mile. It turns it into a comfy, reliable, v8 killer. btw, there is no awd srt8
You should've bought a 2011 IS-F. 416 HP 4.2 sec 0-60, you could find a good one for 35K. most reliable performance car ever built and holds it value like a mofo. also has just enough back room to fit car seat comfortably. Also it is a rare car that almost no one in Utah has.
This is a great suggestion! My issues (personally) would be the maintenance costs of an older vehicle as well as it being rwd. I looked at the newer is300 f sport awd but they are way too small inside. Thanks for the thoughtful comment!
Is is pretty tight for a family hauler and maintenance cost can be cut by simply going to your local Toyota dealership Instead of a Lexus dealer I used to be a Toyota tech and trust me it doesn't matter which tech Toyota/Lexus touches your car Toyota university covers it all
