A low price set of watchmaker tweezers will include an extremely sharp pair, as well as a number of useful others. As for forecep type tweezers, I find they grip too tight sometimes, and benefit from a few wraps of rubber band between the handles and the hinge, so they grip less agresively on plastic parts without damage. No need to lock them in place for this. A tool tip talk on holding parts for painting, gluing or soldering may be valuable to a number of people.

Great show once again guys! I just have to say the Takom Tigers look amazing, and I will be grabbing a couple of kits as soon as I can. I really like the Takom brand, and while some of their kits have some fit issues, the overall quality of mouldings is excellent. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺!

Got to love you guys & gal, what a team you three are. Sincerely. Thank you for all you do. Decals....love em or hate em. So I have a question about decals. I have about a dozen old aircraft models, mostly tamiya, they were ceiling hangers. During a recent move I discovered the decals had started to deteriorate from off the model. This is before I learned to overcoat to protect them. Ok, I'm assuming there must be a way to remove these old decals. Is there? I'd rather not repaint these old models for sentimental reasons. So how to remove old decals from a painted model? Thanks for video FSM.

You could try using a non fuzzy cotton swab (I get mine at Hobby Lobby, they are tiny and don't leave fuzz), Dip that in mircosol and gently work it into the decal to see if lifts wihtout harming the paint

@@mikesackmary You can first try lifting the decals with looped Scotxh tape. The decal should come off without lifting the paint underneath, but you can start by lifting some of the wackiness first.

The NP section of the print magazine has a limited number of pages and we'd rather get as much into the listings as we can rather than chew up the real estate with images.

Zimmerit was notorious for wearing and breaking off in chunks. I apprreciate thatTacom has included it seperately in the Tiger I kit but if you don't want to make the model as factory-fresh, how do you chip the styrene to male it look used?
