great video. sharing the channel and telling some folks I train with about the S&C Blueprint. would love to see a video specifically about handspeed - if you think it's just technique or if there's decent transfer from some lifts more to the velocity side of the force-velocity curve and not just the power stuff in the middle

Appreciate it a lot. People underestimate how much sharing can help small channels like mine. Updated Blueprint will be sent out too soon. Regarding handstand, yea mainly technical/tactical but potentially oscillatory isometrics may be one thing for physical development

10:50 isnt that like Myo Reps? To failure then 10 sec pause and go at it again as much as you can and repeat. Extreme Mechanical Tension

Probably more like breaking 20 reps into 20 singles. But very similar depending how it's done

But Power is highly skill-dependent, especially in fight sports, You can be crazy strong in the weight room and have incredible ballistics and plyometrics but those won't transfer if you have low skill. I have seen bodybuilders that outlift me kick uncoordinated, slow, and with 0 power. Would like to see how they measured power in these studies, a boxer could improve his squat and it won't transfer into his hook or cross.

That's correct, there's always a technical component but we can improve what's under the hood to potentially enhance outputs during skills. Power measured with linear position transducer I believe but would have to double check

@@sweetscienceoffighting Yeah but increasing strength improves the ability for power in skill exercises. Or am I missing something?
