Jess - I've been away for awhile, getting back to work these days. I love the music you play while we watch you get back to your life. You calm me, and I know that's not your job to do - but thank you for that. I hope you bring us on your journey - you are wonderful.
Hi Jess, just wanted to say thank you for the vlog. It's great to watch someone being their authentic self and keeping it real. Sending love from Queensland, Australia!
Hi Jessica, thank you so much for this vlog. I had no intention of doing a wardrobe audit when I started watching it but I have just finished a big clear out! I am by no means a hoarder but I’ve just gone through my clothes and jewellery and I’m amazed how much im getting rid of! I’ve also Marie Kondo’d all my drawers, thank you so much for the inspiration/motivation. Isn’t it amazing how a clear out makes you feel so much lighter and clearer about so many things. Sending you love and positive thoughts as you make your way through this transition xx
You are so strong and positive and are still flourishing I am so happy for you and I hope life's lovely adventure brings you to places beyond your dreams thankyou for bringing so much light to us all Aloha from a friend in Hawaii!
Ah...I've completely fallen out of my minimalist ways/capsule goals and have been buying an excessive amount of clothes. This really makes me want to reevaluate...and stop buying...and declutter...and buy quality. 😂 You're inspiring!
Hi Jess! First off, I LOVE the pink sofa! It's very beautiful and looks incredibly comfy. Second, always so happy to see a new video from you. Lastly, thanks for the capsule wardrobe inspiration. They are some of my favorite vlogs. Hope you are keeping well and starting to feel settled in your new home. Good luck with the final edits of your book! 😊
Hey Jess! I’m a new subscriber and I just want to say, I know you’re going through a hard transitioning period but you’re still a breath of fresh air to so many of us and an escapism from our daily toil. Can I ask, what is your Depop handle please? I’d love to follow you and nab some of your pieces, they’re gorgeous and being only 5ft myself they should fit me for once 😂
Hi Jess, well of course you have a list, inspirational lady. I don’t and “go off piste regularly” 😁, Your vlog could not have come at a better time. New to decorating I’ve just put last coat of paint on the dining room walls but had to empty the dresser totally first and now the room looks like a poor man’s “Acorn Antiques”, 😂 so seeing you tidy your wardrobe helped me enormously. I am “a Seasalt girl” through and through - always will be now. You have achieved so much this year, pat yourself on the back and own it. Your sofa looks amazing and rugs over carpet keeps houses so much warmer in winter I think - cosy vibes. Isn’t Hope such a good girl? Adorable. Go gently. x
Hey Jessica! Thank you so much for your vlog and sharing your authentic life! It is so good to watch and to connect this way! Hope you find some ease and rest in your days!
It must be difficult to be a sensitive minimalist and go through a life change, with some of the clothes carrying complex memories but not wanting to be wasteful. Wishing you continued courage navigating it all!
I was so excited to see a new vlog up. So glad you are finally able to settle here and make it your own. I'm finally settled in a new home and your vlog has given me such good inspo to go through my own wardrobe!
Hi Jessica, Thanks for another inspiring video. I'm really ready to clear out my wardrobe now. An idea for your deceased sweater, make it into a dog bed. Just close the bottom of the sweater and sleeves, stuff it with old rags or what have you and close the neckline. You can then sew the stuffed sleeves on top of the body and it becomes a doggie bed.
Hi Jessica, I just loved 💗that you were prepared to show us your house “as it is” - not tidied up, but REAL! We don’t need images of “perfection” to be inspired and motivated to create change in our lives. Thanks😊 for showing us the ways that you are moving forward through a difficult chapter of life. 💐
Hi Jessica, I absolutely love your videos, they're always so calming and inspiring. So nice to see 'real' cosy homes and not something cleaned and tidied to the max, they've far more relatable. I keep checking in to see if you've uploaded anything new. Hope you are OK and hope youbwill post again soon. Xx
Lovely to see your sweet self! Take all the time you need - I read several comments and there are so many of us wishing you well and cheering you on 🥰 And I too love the reality of life you shared, and that you are taking it slowly. But! May I say?? THAT sofa?! Ohhh I love it love it!! It is so elegant and such a beautiful shade of 💗 I am looking forward to following your slow loving journey to decorate your new home, and make it a HOME!
Love your vlogs, i really like it whenver they pop :) :) Yay for capsule wardrobe clearout, would love to see an updated wardrobed tour eventually to :) :)
This was the video I needed right now. I have plans to clear out my wardrobe this weekend, it's going to be a lot more cathartic after watching your video. I feel weighed down by the amount of clothing I have, I will feel so much lighter. Thank you.
Lovely to see you slowly getting sorted I have found it really difficult to let go of some things I love but never wear previous life and all that but having finally find courage to let go it definitely feels much better how true however great clothes are no point if you do not wear them 😘
This video came at a perfect reminder to declutter my wardrobe too...😅. Vanish blanco works wonders to get back white clothes and I always have a bottle spray of one part vinegary and one part water for sweat stain, always spray it on the armpits of my clothes before wash , it also prevents weird smells.
Hi Jessica! I’ve really enjoyed this vlog. I love seeing what others do when they edit their wardrobe. It may be too late but I wanted to mention about discoloured whites. The best thing for it is sunlight. This always works for me to place the discoloured area of a wet garment in direct sunlight. For tougher stains, I apply some laundry soap and put it out in the sun. I then wash it again. It never fails. Also, have you ever washed canvas trainers in the washing machine? They won’t look new but they will look a lot better. Good luck with your book, too. Can’t wait to see it for sake.
I have some published novels, and I absolutely loved the editing back and forth, although the first time, there was literal red ink and it was quite intimidating. 😂 Like everything in life, it will get easier each time you do it! I love your new couch! It seems very you ❤️. I'm so glad you are still vlogging! Praying for you as you continue to navigate this transition.
Thank you so much for being real. That is so rare in today's social media climate. Your pink sofa is gorgeous and I love your new table. I am moving into my own little cottage this year that my husband is building for me and look forward to making it feel like home.
Thank you so much. This is just the inspiration I have been looking for. I’ve got a couple of weeks coming up so I’m definitely going to tackle my bedroom, it’s is making me feel very stressed, when it should be a calming space. No wonder I get insomnia 🤣 x
Loved it!! Absolutely agree on only decluttering when you’re motivated!!! And also loooove the effect of a good clear out!! Have you ever done a color analysis? Or do you just go with your favorite colors? I feel like my colors do vary over the seasons and years but there is definitely a theme going on! 🫒👖🍂 sending love from Germany
Love your wardrobe organization videos always! I have some travel coming up but as soon as I am back I am going to put on a bunch of your videos and sort through mine.
Jess, try using sodium percarbonate on your white shirts. It's like a natural bleach and it works absolute wonders. I sometimes soak stuff just for like 1-2 days or apply a paste for really proper stains and have so far managed to clean all my whites fully.
Your videos are always so inspiring! I loved having a peek into your lounge wear drawers. It's such an aesthetically pleasing colour scheme 😍. I know that the rail is a temporary situation while you get the wardrobe sorted out, but do you worry about your clothes fading from the sun? Maybe it's not as bright a spot as it appears in the video:)
I watched you before heading to the barn in the morning, you are always so kind and reflective and quiet energy. It makes for a nice morning. :) also i am in love with your new place and the surrounding area. It is very romantic without being frou frou if that makes sense. Would love to see your horse again, hope he is doing well and you did not have to give him up. Okay well I am off to the barn :)
Great vlog. If you still like those white pieces of clothing could you dye them to get some more wear out of them? I imagine with your ethics they're probably natural materials, which can be dyed at home. x
I’ve never heard of Depop(?). I have a big declutter and sell to do but waiting till September when I have time off. I shall look it up! Hope you’re well, love having your videos back :) Xx
Jess, you seem like a sensitive soul like me. I can understand it being hard to see all the editors changes to your book, it would be hard to not take it personally. Hope is so cute 🥰 I’ve been having a rough time in our 6th lockdown and I bought a puppy and named her Daisy. She’s a Maltese ShihTzu white with brown patches 🐶 I’ve been doing too much shopping lately for all the wrong reasons. I really need to sort my head out 🤦🏼♀️ Sending you hugs from Melbourne, Australia
For white clothes made of cotton that get stained, have you considered dyeing them a different color and wearing them again? I only buy white t-shirts that then turn into yellow or blue when they can't go on being white anymore 🤣.
Hi Jessica just preordered your book looking forward to reading it. I have myself have written a series of children’s books and have been offered a book deal but just don’t know if I should go ahead as they want a lump sum to publish. Can you advise me please? Begging actually sorry. From Lana Spinks
Please could you say where is aproximatly your place, is so quiet, I am from Spain I don't know where It can be, but I love so much UK, I d never been there, and for my age I believe I will not get done.Thank you so much.
By coincidence, I saw a meme yesterday that read: "Write the book you want to read, because you will have to read it 75 times." Thought you could well identify (-:
always love watching your videos! At the moment I also have to remind me to go S t e p b y S t e p!!! And also focus on what I have accomplished... Feeling the relieve and feel proud. Sending lots of love
I recently discovered that the person who founded lululemon named it so out of a "joke" on Chinese folk not being able to pronounce their "L" s! Bit of racism knowledge 😳😳😳 Obviously check this out if need be but if true then I'm not so keen 😪
Chip Wilson. He’s also publicly said sizeist, sexist and pro-child-labour things. He was finally fully pushed out of the company in 2015, since the core customer demographic, i.e. women, were not keen on any of those things.
