This Is The Best Time To Declutter 

A mantra that I try to keep in mind is "Action creates motivation". If you can just get started, the motivation to continue will usually follow.

Really like your declutters, I did a declutter on the weekend and ended up donating quite a bit of my old maybe items. Still held onto some and I got rid of all my flat sheets as I never use them and if I am super cold I just a blanket, it saved so much space. Managed to be able to fold and display my knits and cardigans nicely now as I was forgetting what I had when they were in a drawer.

I love it when your videos open with Hope. She is such a sweet dog and you are truly blessed to have each other. I have been procrastinating bathing my dog for a few weeks... Today I hit a moment when I knew it was time, and if I had waited longer than 3 seconds I would have probably let it slide. It's an interesting thing I do lately for things I keep putting off - when a thought comes up about it yet again, I decide to do it there and then within 3 seconds before it is too late!

Yes I do have that need! I have pmdd and when I'm at my worst the days before my period, sometimes the only thing that can give me some kind of saticfaction and the only thing that can bring me some kind of joy is organizing and declutter.

Omg, yes! 😄 I want to fix, clean and declutter EVERYTHING when in the autumn phase 😅 I was just laughing to my husband that at least once every cycle our house gets deep cleaned!

I'm a big fan of 'action before the feeling'. But even so... Sometimes, when I know I want to do a declutter but I don't feel 100% motivated, I'll wait until you have a new decluttering vlog out, or until I have time to watch an old one, and then as soon as it ends I'm upstairs in my drawers sorting and organising :) PS: Also feeling the decluttering vibes right now, and I'm on day 22.

Lovely video, and yes, I agree, premenstrual space is all about the decluttering...when I am premenstrual I have a lower tolerance for clutter, be it physical, mental or noise wise, just find anything other than a mellow smooth vibe to be irritating. It's a time of month where clutter becomes louder, or more obvious, for sure. Also time for chocolate! I try to eat chocolate in a nourishing way (gooey sweet potato brownies this month!) and get cozy. Since learning about my cycle and the unique hormonal energy flow we have as women, it has really enriched my life. Instead of fighting against it, sinking into it is so much nicer and promotes better mental health. We are not men, though our dominant culture expects us to act as such...

I'm through menopause but remember being "cleaning crazy" at that time : )

For me, when my head is a mess, I feel that urgency to organize my surrounds. And that happens a lot in my PM period. It seems like hormones mess and it takes my anxiety to the highest level.

Thanks for the reminder that action comes before feelings at times. I've been organizing lately as well, but idk if that has to do with my menstrual cycle or the fact that I want my life to look different in general right now and I'm tired of waiting for it to happen to me and instead have chosen to act.

I did my declutter about a month ago but I feel it can be on going… ☺️
