Good to see the koi in their new home. The backyard in coming along nicely too. It's hot, you didn't want to swim with the fish?

For the climate you live in Isn't insulation needed in the roof or walls of the filter house to protect from heat or cold

That's my next project to prepare for the winter. I have already been sealing every crack I can find and will most likely add insulation to the walls in the filter shed. I will also add 2 hanging reptile fixtures with ceramic heat bulbs to keep the shed semi-heated. I will also be making covers to cover the pond. The waterfall removes and the left and right pipes of the waterfall will get 90's with pipe that extends directly into the water so I can keep the Bakki shower running through the winter. I'm hoping all that will work as we do get consistently into the teens and 20 degree temps at night and daytime during the winter.
