The word you're looking for is mixed, not mastered. Mastered is making it a more versatile format for various media players. Mixing is how loud/processed things are relative to each other (hence why the sound effects are so loud). It's probably a rough-mix demo, I think it will sound great when mixed professionally!
This clip was probably transfered between several different computers via flash drive. This may have diminished the quality a bit. Im sure the quality on disc will be much better.
I gotta agree with Dylan Randall's comment . Dude your music is great. Embrace it! It's very artistic and unique. Believe it yourself that your music I good , if you don't , how would you expect any one else to feel that way?
Ive own 6 "I set my fucking friends on fire" t's . they all got taken away that same year by the staff @my school because it had "FUCKING" across my chest. + they didn't give them back. I like their music, its just that zoned out for a few years..
Matt, like myself, has always been a huge noisecore fan, so now that he's writing his own music I've anticipated ISMFOF evolving into something more artsy.
It could be mixed/recorded at home, if they booked an engineer and got this as a result, that engineer should be looking for other work, perhaps driving trucks. :P
There were alot of good songs on you can't spell slaughter actually but although Matts lost alot of fans through changing his style he has also picked up new ones i don't enjoy the new music but If Matt wants to do it god damn let him unfortunately he is not a slave to our musical preferences i sy good on him for continuing doing what he loves as long as you're happy making the music fuck everyone else Matt

I hope the production isn't shit on this album. And I need to hear more. I've been a fan since day one, enjoyed both albums, but I can't really interpret what's going on here.
It sounds like everything you recorded was amplified so much that you reached an entirely new level of clipping... and yet...... I'm strangely drawn to it.
This band was good in the beginning, but now it's like "dude come on really?" Idk about the new album that will come out. If they would have stay like how the song what rhymes with orange kind of music.
its so poor quality people think that the guitar chugs are dubstep wubs. epiitaph would never put out something like this and i doubt ismfof produces there own songs anyways. people need to just calm down and wait for the final release.
To be honest, it sounds like the stuff that electronica artists experimented with and then deleted. Then somehow matt broke into their computer, copied it from their recycling bin and put it in his tracks, and then just screams over it. I'm sincerely hoping the rest of the album isn't this... Noisy. I love the voice, but hate all that high pitched screeching sound. But no matter what happens, ISMFOFTW.
Matt you ever think it'st time to just leave the music business? Nothing person it's just since Nabil left. None of your songs never really compared to that one great song people fell in love with. Things that rhyme with orange. You did good though a one hit wonder.
You praise experimental but you hope that it's going to be "better" than this. I'm assuming you want it to get more generic based on the demographic here. This is pretty experimental already. I personally hope it gets weirder.
Oli Sykes is also a god damn awful screamer haha next you'll be telling me mike hranica's screams are better on the new devil wears prada album or that they were even good in the first place haha now dont get me wrong i love both i set my friends on fire and the devil wears prada but the vocals are almost as bad as hardcore bands like desolated or polar XD
O.k. I love this band and I love ALL of Matt's music. But I dont appreciate that on all your pages you go around abusing the haters. I understand it hurts man but Its not professional to hit back. 2 wrongs dont make a right. Anyway. Cant wait for a full song.
