I love the laidback tone and rhythm of your reviews. All the bases are covered and your commentary is about as objective as you can get. The design of the Marimekko amenity kit is superb, as is most of the stuff that comes out of that design house. The new seat looks beautiful, but just like you , I do like the lounging position and I'm not sure I'd be able to get comfortable without the recline function. Thanks!
That new seat is definitely really interesting, doesn’t tick all the boxes, but also a welcome improvement from certain other airlines. That Marimekko amenity kit looks nice too! For now I only own a United Premium Plus one
I always love how detailed your videos are. The placement of each section, volume, and real dedication to what you bring for b-roll footage. I would like to say how did you get good at the long haul travel. With the pockets of Turbulence throughout the 7-10 hours of flight is something I am trying to just break from myself. You seem like nothing bothers you on these flights.

I love the unique style of Finnair and there quirky seat, I love how the use Finnish brands like the marimekko amenity kits. I myself am waiting for covid restrictions to ease to fly this new product but love your videos and keep up the great work 👍
love what they’ve done with the middle seats, such a great solution to something which other airlines seem to have overlooked a little. And those beautiful marimekko kits are always appreciated, I like that they’re giving them out in premium economy as well!
Yep, love that it's one where you can chat with your partner onboard. I generally like the reverse herringbone seats, but the biggest issue is traveling with someone else bc when you want to talk to them, you have to wave your hand and then both lean forward to do so.
Finnair for me has become the best European airline, most innovative, most consistently good service. Love how they accentuate their Finnish origin, including by using Finnish suppliers like Marimekko

I am a great and loyal follower/subscriber of Flightradar24 for a long time! Your videos would be a decent and honest way of cabin experience which I became addict versus other arroganish vloggers. Marimekko is a rising star nowadays and Finnair’s partnership is a proof of evidence for that! Next to other brand alliances... Good Luck and keep up.

I love these videos! The soft narration is great and seeing all the amenities and scenery is very interesting. I bought other Merimekko items in Finland and the airline bag would be a nice addition.

Showing the menu and amenity packs is a great help. Looking at the size of the hole for your feet to go when laying down would also be a tight squeeze if you had bigger feet. As I immigrated from Holland as a Child and we were one of the First to Fly to New Zealand 1952...KLM on a Constellation 4 Prop Propeller....it took 7 days to arrive to Christchurch in those days. Oh, what would I do without Flightradar24 everyday? Don't even want to think about it. Seriously, thank you for providing flying experiences many of us won't have ourselves. The Marimekko amenity kit is a nice memento of a Finnair flight. Seems their collaboration is going well.
We flew Finnair economy a few years ago from London to Dubai. It wasn’t particularly cheap and to our surprise there wasn’t any free food and no frills. Next time we flew a different carrier.
"Hope we get some views", he says, then shows off the most *amazing* views over Manhattan. 😆 That cabin looks incredible... the colour is restful, the food and drink look Nordically great. Wonder why the premium cabins were all empty? What a great experience. Marimekko! Would love that amenity kit.

I really look forward to the video where you can judge the new seat when you have to sleep in it. For this day-flight it looks really nice at least. I think it is really good and daring that Finnair went for a design like this. It shows that they are not scared to try new things. I love the idea of a DB level on each flight, it will be interesting to hear the difference between things like the A330 and the newer generation aircraft. Also, I’d like Marimekko amenity kit please 😁
Those business & premium economy seats look interesting. Definitely have to give finnair a try now, especially with their collaboration with itella and marimekko. Fyi I loved that 9 hours video you did for monocle back in the day

Good video, lots of information here. I love the views out of Stockholm and over northern U.S./Canada. I liked the previous Finnair offering and I like the Marimekko amenity kits as well. I will certainly be interested to see how the return flight goes. Hope you will do a full flight in Premium economy as well to see how that goes.
Thanks for a great review, full of relevant details and specifics. Long ago I was First Class all the time. Then I had 2 kids. Now I'm 46 - and retired early - - so, Premium Economy seems like it will be my new way to travel because I want to do some European trips from USA.

The old glassware had a more of Finnair feeling to them... If that's a thing. Fortunately they're still around. And the Marimekko kit's nice, I'd like one!

Probably 50-60 onboard total and most of them in the back. Yes it ends up looking like I had a private A330 hah! And yes at 6'3" it might be a little tight, or you might just fit. Stay tuned for the next one! And thanks for the comment!
