fionn’s music brings me back to when i was 15 years old; when i first met my boyfriend. i was a lot more timid back then, but he’s helped me come out of my shell since. i used to listen to fionn when i would be anxious at school and on the walk home. i listened to him when my boyfriend moved away, along with most of my friends. when a few family members were in the mental hospital, and when i simply just wanted to hear something nice. it was comforting. now that i’m nearly 19, it makes me feel that same, happy feeling that i did back then. it cheers me up every time. thanks, man. you’ve got a mind of gold.
i think there's no other art that can reach us as music does, when we find our "soul mate" artist. as morrisey says, there are songs that can save our lives and songs that makes us cry. those are the songs we have to keep forever, and keep their authors too

My favorite songwriter forever. Fionn is the soundtrack of my life. I've heard "The End of History" (album) while driving, flying, eatin', poopin', fucking, etc, etc... What a memories! What an album! What an artist!
am i the only one who noticed that this recording is missing almost half of the song? this saddens me, because my favorite line is the "i can't help from crying, i wish you were mine".

I met Fionn in the smoking area outside the Borderline a few weeks ago. I had no idea who he was but he mentioned that he was musician, and seemed a very nice bloke. Then I notice a familiar-looking hairdo whilst trawling the Guardian website and discover this brilliant music. Modesty is a real virtue.
