i literally thought those were actual bells for a second til i realized it was just a cheesy tone on a genesis speaker when you lifted the camera up. Also i found it pretty cool when the video was half fire alarm, and half railfan toward the end!
@AlexGetsAroundTO I mean, there are no strobes, so that's a dead giveaway initially to disregard it without the message. I probably would've put headphones back in probably not notice the message.
i was there when the alarms went off today. I thought i heard it say an armed robbery because it was loud so i couldnt really hear. I also never seen that before.
Try coming to square one the alarm as well and everytime u go to square one the fire alarm goes off there all the time sometimes and I was at square one last week on Saturday and the fire alarm sets off and usually crazy teens just accidentally pull it just to make fun cuz security doesn't care and they just do it for the fun of it
I think there should be strobes in that area in the beginning of the video, like, if someone was in that area who couldn’t hear, and it went off, they wouldn’t know there could be an emergency.
"Attention, please. Attention, please. May I have your attention? There is a fire alarm activation in the building. Please stand-by. Be prepared to exit the building upon further instructions.”
I was at the food court when this happened today. No one cared, we just sat and ate as normal lol. Ironically, there was also a fire alarm when I was at dufferin mall a few days ago
Lol yup. Yorkdale seriously needs to invest in some better speakers though, it was so hard to understand what was said Also, why didn’t they have an actual human to at least clarify what’s happening? I don’t want like when the shooting happened years ago, that was when they took security and cameras seriously. We don’t need an actual fire that burns half the mall until they improve fire safety
Same with square one it's expensive to as well and once you go there it's busy and when ever you r at square one you can hear the fire alarm go off at square one I was there last Saturday and the alarm went off
