Brandolor1 it's funny. I tend to not like Inigo in awakening due to his overly flirty nature, but I incredibly enjoy him in Fates as Laslow. He was still a flirt, but it was more toned down and it was surprising how much he had matured. While I still favor Lucina and Robin, I'll admit that after seeing the dialogue between these two, I support this this pair. Instead of being the massive flirt he usually is, all of his dialogue with Lucina was more casual and genuine, which made it more believable

I don't think Chrom would try hurting Inigo unless he actually tried soemthing with another woman. Chrom seems to chill for that shit, I mean, he let two dark mages, two dragons, a rabbit and a few bandits and mercenaries join his army right after meeting them so....
I think if we have Robin as Lucina's mother it's her Inigo has to watch out for. She's the snart one and is silently planning for if Inigo ever screws up. It will look like an accident

I'll be honest: the way she talks about Chrom chopping Inigo to bloody bits sickens me. Inigo seems VERY uncomfortable with the way Lucina talks about this, and I really can't blame him. Sure, I'll admit that I had a difficult time stomaching the way he was constantly being such a flirt and absolutely refused to give up his womanizing ways in almost all his possible S supports, but he still doesn't deserve to be treated like this at the end of the day. Hell, I would even go so far as to say that when he becomes Laslow in fates, I actually kind of ship him with Charlotte for 2 reasons: 1) Firstly, he and Charlotte agree to still continue to flirt with other men and women as a playful "challenge" to see if they can find anyone better, and I find it both hilarious and refreshing to see this as a result. It shows that he still has shades of his old self, and is the complete opposite way that most of his S supports end in awakening. 2) Soleil gets to have blonde hair, which I like best for her, personally. It doesn't hurt that she also gets the fighter class and it's berserker promotion as well (not to mention a bonkers strength stat to abuse it with)
I like to imagine Chrom wouldn’t actually be all that pissed. He seems like a chill enough guy. Inigo’s only worry should be making sure he never tries anything with another women. THATS when Chrom murders him. Or Lucina depending on who finds him first
Inigo is an important character to have around, even in real life. He likes smiling, even when he's in pain just to hide his weaknesses and be strong for the ladies. It isn't just for womanizing, it's at any time when hard times are hard to let pass you. That's why he tried helping Lucina smile that way. But damn, my favorite is the B rank conversation. First he forced a smile on her, then he tickled her, then she told him to shut up, the next thing he does is (I first thought he was dancing for her and I laughed hard thinking that just to entertain her) performing for her as a mime (Which reminds me of the Fresh Prince when Smith was getting annoyed and told Carlton to stop or he'll hang him with that rope and so he did it himself). This character, to me, is special even if he likes women. A smile is important for everyone to wear, even during the wars we have. Too much sorrow will lead you to death. I love this pairing but I think Inigo is best with Cynthia... haha, now that I think of it, Inigo helps Lucina brighten her day and with Cynthia, she helps brighten his day by helping him. Irony!
JohnyTheWizKid I agree, but disagree.. it's good to have an optimistic look on things and to remember to appreciate the good and remember to be light and cheerful, but you shouldn't have to suppress your emotions with a smile...
Well in his A support with his dad, Inigo mentions that in reality a lot of this positivity and cheerfulness is an act. He's actually extremely negative and pessimistic deep down, and extremely emotional. He just doesn't want to show it because he realizes his importance as the carefree and cheerful guy in the group.
I'm afraid I disagree with you on this one. A smile is important, but smiling when you don't feel like it is one of the worst feelings there are. It makes you feel like a liar, and completely alone, too, because then nobody understands you, and it's your fault, and you know it. Sadly, this support is one of the worst to me because of the message behind it. You can't smile a trauma away. You can't smile a depression away. You can't smile sadness away. What you can do is open up to people, show them your true emotions and accept their help. And then you will be able to smile without consciously thinking about it.
After watching this again just because watching Inigo's mime act in the B-Support is funny, I see now through his words and in the A-Support that he's the kind of person that would be among the first in the destroyed villages searching for surviors and if he finds anyone would be ready with a smile, a small gift and the words "It's okay. You're safe now." Inigo's character is truly a wonderful one because he offers to help battle your demons for you, no matter who you are. If he sees you sad, he'll work tirelessly to make you happy... and that's just beautiful.

I don't like agreeing with you but alas I haven't even played awakening, only fates, and sadly these child supports are better than a lot of the adult ones. Except Saizo x Charlotte, because that shit's amazing.
Jacob Nguyen They are a lot character Considerate and tailor made than fates I noticed as well. Both are good and can be moving, But awakening is just deeper Character-wise.
I wonder what each and every male unit in the game would feel if their daughters were dating Inigo Chrom: Point falchion too his throat with an angry look on his face (M)Robin: Also with an angry look but instead of pointing a weapon at him, he just strategically screws with him Henry: Just looks like how he normally does but threatens him deadly curses if he ever breaks her heart Just to name a few examples
+Rodrigo Romero A collection of fanfics actually did a pretty cunning one for (M)Robin in one segment (wherein he was married to Tharja) - the two put a curse on Inigo that would cause him pain if he ever stepped out of line so far as Noire's feelings were concerned (though Robin also made a test of character by pretending there was a potential antidote to it, only offering it if he gave up Noire - Inigo chose her). Hell, forget the fathers - it's the mothers you REALLY have to worry about! Inigo is perhaps the one attractive guy who would be able to create the "monster in-law" effect in a woman over her daughter (as opposed to a gal doing it over the woman's son!), and it would very ironically be justified... Especially when you consider that "Awakening" has another womaniser, Virion, who in HIS personal S-Supports with various women seems a LOT more genuinely faithful and actually puts his wife before himself (something Inigo is evidently NOT mature enough to manage yet!)

Inigo really out her telling women they need to smile more. But this support was so hilarious yet emotional and introspective. I had forgotten how good the writing was in Awakening, they really mastered characterization with the game's supports.
OMG, LUCINA!!! Great moments...this is GREATNESS. I'm sorry, at first I was like "Lucy's way too innocent and sweet to be with him" but then she's all laughing at the thought of Chrom attacking Inigo and threatening him--IT'S TOO MUCH! XDDD You go, Lucy! Show that big dummy what for!
I can imagine Inigo/Laslow bringing Soleil back to Ylisse, and her meeting Lucina (who I guess could some how be her mother) and thinking she’s just another pretty girl and flirting with her.
I was thinking about picking up this game. When I saw the S. Conversation, I thought they would make the cutest couple, because of how serious Lucina is sometimes and how laidback Inigo is.
And then Inigo went to Marry Corrin, queen of Valla, had two kids Lucinas Ultimate Heartbreak Unless you killed him in Birthright, or forget Fates existed
I only play male corrin to marry felicia but i find it more fun as loli corrin just to prove the people who say people who play female corrin just do it cuz she has tits
For everyone who doesn't like this ship or thinks that the ending is lame, just look at the epilogue and you'll know it is Lucina's best ship, which is why I love it.
Four years late, but if I'll be damned if Lucina and Inigo don't have the single most romantic epilogue text in the whole game "Inigo traveled the world, ever ready with a smile or a solution when trouble started to brew. Lucina journeyed with him, and their home of the moment was always brimming with joy and laughter."

Right I always struggle between VirionxCherche and VirionxOlivia On one hand Virion and Olivia are sweet together and Virion being the father of Inigo makes way too much sense. But in the other hand, A lord and his maid makes for a classic love story. Plus Cherche knows how to keep Virion in line from his bs lol.

I still wonder how Laura Bailey pulls off Lucina's voice... It sounds a lot like Naoto's voice from P4, which makes it hard to believe that the woman who voiced Rise could do this...
Damn inigo you were on such a roll till the end there about making all girls happy. I had my hopes up that he was partially such a big flirt because he had the hots for lucina but respected her enough to never flirt with her and used other girls as his outlet. Damn you inigo!
This support has a little similarity with Female Avatar and Chrom's support in a way, that Inigo, who is actually shy, tries his best to convey his feelings to the woman he likes, just like Chrom, who tried to do the same thing with FA while feeling very embarassed. And if we consider that Lucina adores her father, this pairing begins to make sense.
That was actually fantastic. I thought I'd watch maybe 2 or 3 minutes of it because I didn't plan on pairing the 2 of them, but after watching this I was like "more"!

You know you can just try to pair these two last you know. Think about it, if you get all the support conversations except for the s rank and have them hook up it would feel more meaningful
