"You always speak of growing stronger, yet here's a glaring weakness to correct. At this rate a little girl could simply walk up and kill you with a spoon" *MARIBELLE SERVING SOME TRUTH TEA LIKE A BAWSS*
+Number13teen Lon'Qu gets access to the Acrobat Talent from one of his class set allowing him to ignore difficult terrain. Mounted units have great difficulty crossing difficult terrain. That simple. :P
Well, it's said he was fighting, and the most common difficult terrain on battle maps is woods, so... And you want to argue they were in camp, Maribelle wouldn't be on her horse because she likely isn't on it 24/7. :P Also, Lon'Qu has access to the Movement +1 skill.
Well in supports they are referring to their base classes and apparently in this game everyone wears their battle equipment all the time so why not have a horse wherever you go?
3:28-3:31 hmmmm, really now. *gets a street pass and lon'qu is an unit* Me: lol, why not? *Changes Nowi into a wyvern Lord upgrades a ladle and changes the name to spoon* Me: perfect.
I had a conversation with a friend of mine about these supports just the other day. She literally could not get passed the C support because she hated how insensitive Maribelle was about Lon'qu's issue. While I have to agree with her that what she did was insensitive, she doesn't stay that way imo. Slowly over the course of the supports, she gets better. And I think that's part of the reason I love these supports so much, because you can visibly see the characters growing, while still at the core remaining themselves.
then the "a woman must have her secrets" isn't as fun a line. considering her alienation in the past, they may have been her only friends besides Lissa.
...As someone who used to have slight androphobia (fear of men) I can relate all too well with Lon'qu...I mean, I'm still afraid of males I'm just not as bad but I can relate either way...
This is a really good support imo, and this is the first time Ive seen Maribelle chasing the guy in the support and not it either being the other way around or her just being mean/an ass. She was flirting hard, and I actually kind of like her, she's not as bad as I thought
Her Vaike support is the ultimate "woah this snobby character isn't as annoying as I thought they'd be" showcase. Vaike finds her stressing over how snobby she is, then she visits his slum and successfully befriends everyone there. Their married ending even has her settling down with Vaike and fighting to reform laws so that those living in the slums are given fair and equal treatment
@@circle3565 I was gonna say thats out of character generosity considering Maribelle seems to be classist, but I think Ive seen times where shes put her classism aside. Shes nice deep down in general so if shes committed to something I dont think itd be that out of character to put so much into.
Maribelle: Well, I could continue to train you if we were married. Lon'qu: You have no obligation to do that. ME: GOD, Lon'qu! You're SO dense! Maribelle: Gods, but you can be dreadfully dense at times. ME: THANK YOU! Jajajajaja, I think I get too involved in this game XD But seriously, this is one of my favorite supports. The S is just... so cute *smiles stupidly*
I'll be pairing these two together on my next play through, they just go so well together. It would take someone as... pushy as Maribelle to work through Long'qu's problem with women.
Well, judging from the comments maribelle is actually super sweet and I've just been too busy having distain of her from the few supports I saw before...
