Fire Emblem Engage - FULL Opening [English] + Title Screen 

RANGERS, IT'S MORPHIN TIME!

You know all those times when folks said Fire Emblem is too anime-esque? Well, they've decided to roll with it with this intro, and I love it.

That the song references the countries of the princesses and princes at 0:15 when they appear is neat.

This game is the epitome of shut up and enjoy the ride and honestly im down for that.

I'm not the biggest anime fan so maybe that's why but I don't see this being cheesy at all and I think it's good. Gives me a tv show vibe. (on an unrelated note this channel is a relic. Just looking at the channel banner hits me.)

This fast paced music is a nice change from the slow theme songs that the last few fire emblem games have had

SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 21-22!!!! My favorite line was when Marth said Alear was the Fire Emblem and then Alear Emblem’d all over the place. Such a great game. (I can’t believe this is real)

This really do be the most, Saturday morning anime dub opening vibes we have had in the series. It's perfect for what this doing. 10/10.

I like the part when Toothpaste Marth says "It's Engagin Time" and Engaged all over the opening

I noticed they didn’t include any of the actual emblem characters themselves in this opening just the rings alone. I think it’s a clear sign that the past protagonists will not end up overshadowing the Engage original characters.

I honestly love how campy this is, it fits the more light hearted less gritty thirtieth anniversary vibe they seem to be going for really well imo

Calling it now: This theme will play on the final map or against the final boss and it will be the cheesiest but still unironically hype thing ever

I love the part where they go "Oi blud, it's Emblem Time" in the chorus. Truly a modern masterpiece, best song that humanity has ever made.

First time hearing this it felt like a awkward anime cover to me but i will admit after a few more listens it has grown on me. Prob will end up singing it all day friday.

The first half is kinda eh but that second half picks up so hard. Is it corny? Yes. Am I disappointed? Partly. Do I still love it? Yes absolutely.

We went from anime opening to power rangers opening… Then again, the Japanese version is probably 150% anime opening with the song’s tempo. I actually like it.

This has a layer of nostalgic cheese that I can’t not love. I’m still unsure on the lyrics, but I know the instrumental will go in.

This is so 90's anime opening. And gives my inner kid flashbacks to them cheesy openings and I love it so much. Cheesy yes but its so good.

This is absolutely one of my favorite things to come out of this game. I think it compliments the more anime-esque art style perfectly. Plus, the songs just a banger. I hope there's like, a whole song version they use for the credits.

Remember this game was developped alongside three houses and was supposed to be released in 2021 but covid. So... i don"t like song but DO NOT SAY "they are going backwards". IT'S INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS, NOT KOEI TECMO and by the way all previews are saying the game mechanics are much more better than 3 Houses. FIGHT ME

Well, if there is any Fire Emblem game that you can decide on whether you will like it or not from first impressions, I think Engage is the one. I think this intro tells you exactly what you are in for and it's clear animesque style, cliche loving, CHEESE. A step down from Three Houses I agree, but I do like me some corny power of friendship fighting off the forces of evil stories, so I'm definitely eating well! 🧀

They cranked the anime in this game up to 11 I love it.

It's nice that Malear and Falear are given pretty even treatment after 4 generations of notible preferential avatar treatment. Awakening: male promoted more canon yet female is more commonly grima'd. Fates: female = canon nohr. Male = canon hoshido. Houses: male Byleth was more common in promotional work Hopes: female Byleth was more common and shez usually was just the opposite to Byleth in respective scenes, iirc.

There should be an unlockable opening that has Celine, Alcryst, Hortensia and Fogado instead

Tbf English versions of songs usually aren't as good as the og. Not because the singer is bad but just because its hard to translate a song and its lyrics into english especially to fit a beat of a song.

I feel like only people who grew up watching anime or shows in the 90's/early 2000's might appreciate this, I mean this is basically what English openings were like for anime during that time period. Younger fans might not appreciate or understand why so many people like it, or maybe they're older fans and just have strange taste/expectations in openings, or maybe they just simply have learned to hate anything English related and bow to Japanese everything, like elitists. Also if you hated Power Rangers growing up then I'm sorry for the person you became.
