Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright - Endgame (Lunatic) 

Yeah I forgot about how pathetic Blight Garon was. If only he was placed further away with more enemies guarding him. Then he'd be actually threatening

I actually just beat this game again yesterday with Great Master Corrin. I love Birthright. I really do. The gameplay, the maps, the characters the cast, all of it is great. Not perfect, but still amazing. Whether I go all in with bonus items and whatnot or try to limit myself to main game resources this game continually brings me joy. My main issue with the difficulty is the aforementioned difficulty spike, which I feel like is exacerbated by some of the mid game maps being absurdly easy. Also some of the dragon veins were not well implemented and I feel like you have to go out of your way to use them to any great effect. At least Camilla got some good use out of them. I’m not the biggest fan of its story. Even if it does less things wrong I think Conquest had the more engaging and interesting storyline. But I can understand liking it more for just being more straightforward. Also chapter 26… it gets me every time. Watching this video almost makes we want to start another file, I love this game so much. I’ll have to go back and watch some of your other videos since I’m kind of late to the party. I think this map could have been a lot better if the boss wasn't so easy to reach in like 1 turn. In all of my Birthright runs I have never seen a single case of Garon using a Dragon Vein. Ok maybe because I use rescue strats but still.

16:57 …Do you think you over-prepared yourself for this? 34:40 Being my first path for my first Fire Emblem game ever, I feel like it was a good call. The freedom with preparations that started with Awakening is good for newcomers, even if the first 6 chapters are grueling. From there, it’s pretty smooth sailing, though not without possible hiccups (Missing a 99% hit is a possibility you’ve proven to exist). With Ryoma, I feel he’s best categorized as the big gun you bring out when all other options are exhausted; the “We have a Hulk” Unit, to put it simply. Sure, he makes the route a near-cakewalk, but even the Queen piece in Chess needs support. 34:49 It was straight-forward with its story, convenient Warp Book not withstanding. I’m just glad it was good enough to convince me to purchase the other two paths. If not, I might’ve not purchased the other two. It wasn’t outstanding, but I didn’t regret my purchase. Looking forward to the Ashen Wolves’ introduction.

For the sake of fun I'll be saying things to make the final chapter of this route and Conquest harder: You spawn farther away from Garon: Maids will have Enfeeble and Staff Savant. Berserkers will have Death Blow and Tomebreaker. Heroes will have Darting Blow and Pavise. Generals will have Wary Fighter, Tomebreaker and Armor Shield. Wyvern Lords and Malig Knights immediately start to chase you. Garon uses the Dragon Veins in turn 2. Garon now has Immune Status (so he can no longer be hexed), Pavise and Aegis.

Well, now I can see why people say Birthright is the easiest route lol. Jokes aside, if you don't focus too much on the story, this game can actually be entertaining. The thing I like the most about this game is its music, definitely has some bangers here and there. With that said, now all we have for this game is Revelation. But yeah, if you compare this route's final chapter to Conquest's, you can really see which route is easier lol.

Playing Birthright for the first time on Lunatic Classic and just lost a run because both Corrin AND Ryoma did not use any skills on Garon. I got through Chapter 27 on some lucky skills so I’m not getting through that again for a while. This difficulty spike has NOT treated me well.

Hey Hawlo, I want to ask you for something, when you do revelations, think you could show the dlc for the game? I would really like to see it in action, and for this game, it might clear up some things about the plot, plus the extra classes and items would be really cool, also, think you could show the extra weapon, the stuff you can only find through base conversations, the unique items for each character and stuff, I would really appreciate it man, so think about it okay?

Well… honestly kinda anticlimactic lol. But hurray birthright is finished with no deaths! …that don’t involve story.

I got softlocked in endgame and people are saying this chapter is easy :(
