+Mitsuki Horenake "Hey mom, long time no see. So, good news, you're a grandmother now! Also your granddaughter is a reincarnation of you. So you're your own grandmother. Don't ask me how this works."
she married a guy that is the male version of her mother, and gave birth to an almost exact image of her mother... I can only feel the irony here, anyone else?
Severa: -hates (sort of) her mother -marries a male version of her mother -gives birth to a near-carbon copy of her mother Just imagine how pissed she is at life in general for this.
+Tactician Morgan Every single Awakening clone is just an anagram of the original character's name. Some aren't, but I won't tell what specific category they fall into because that'd spoil some things.
math77370 When I said spoil I was talking about the Conquest clones. Please don't spoil things about them, others actually might want to figure stuff out, as obvious as it may be to you or myself.
I really feel sorry for Selena. First she had to grow such low self-esteem from watching her mother, and then she gives birth to a daughter who not only is a copy of Cordelia, but now she feels like a complete stick in the mud compared to them. I can't imagine how frustrating it can be. :'(
+Triple D to be fair i dont think theyre copies. im pretty dayum sure they ARE the real characters. way too many coincidences. that or times is indeed screwing with them
Okami Inuzuka They aren't. It would be really fucked up if Severa gave birth to Cordelia. Like REALLY FUCKED UP. It's like which came first? The chicken or the egg?
Triple D ehh. True. But there are other ways for the children to be born. For example caldori (? I can't pronounce half their names) only NEEDS subaki. So realistically her mother could be Anyone, even female avatar. Mjnd I'm not saying I'm right. I'm just saying I don't think it's too far of a streach. I personally think the coincidences are way too close but I admit I'm also a bit of a theory lover. So take that as you will. The primary example I'd look at is Asugi who is pretty well a carbon copy of (suprise) gaius and his c rank conversation with caldori is literally just a meaner version of the awakening one. Also I always choose the egg. A bird evolves into a chicken but the first chicken HAD to come from the egg
Okami Inuzuka I won't go deep into this just take the developers say about the game and the fact they are NOT the same people. Xcept for you know, the three amigos.
Sir Aicos After Grima and Lucina went back in time, Anankos found a way to save his fallen kingdom and he recruited the 3 misfits named Inigo,Owain & Severa.
Selena and Subaki is definitely a canon couple. And this mother and daughter support is so unique and it answers Subaki's question to Selena about "who do you want to admire or appreciate your hard work? Your mother?" And it makes sense of why Selena would get teary eyed when Caeldori, who looks exactly like Cordelia, would admire her hard work and skills. I ship this family a lot! I love this family. Definitely my favorite pairing ever.
I want to think this pairing is canon as well, but the thing is that it makes Selena a total liar as when the world is ending she abandons Caeldori and teleports out instead of saving her daughter or dying trying.
@@AlanJia8 a subtle detail at the end of Heirs of Fate is that the translocation crystal: which had been split in three was posses by Soleil, Ophelia, and no one else. This means either Selena left her family in a dying world to save her own skin (without Liliths power boost each crystal was explicitly only good enough for one person) or she married Laslow or Odin. Each Heir of Fate is from a different version of that world, but because there are only 2 worlds of awakening presumably all Selena’s do the same thing or there are thousands of clones of her running around Ylisse. I find the earlier more likely.
+joshua kim During my Awakening playthroughs I only used legendary weapons (exept if an alternate bonus FE team was selling it, like mire) in my non-main savefiles

DevilHunter1994 Yeah, a perfect way to work your weapons transporting, tsundere mothered, prodigious fathered BE-HIND off... I think yours is much funnier... What do you think...?
Gaaaaaaaah... Severa. I'm so happy for her in the end of this support. Finally overcoming her inferiority complex. Too bad it took her a few years and another game before finally letting go of the past. Can't wait to get Revelation myself. It's a bit odd that I'll have to get used to her "new" identity though.
Axis True, but she’s now got it in hand, like the other two. Owain is still theatrical, but speaks plainly when needed. Inigo still flirts with girls, but doesn’t bully them into accepting his invitations.
"And I promise never to go die on you or abandon you." Severa had such a complex relationship with Cordelia. On the one hand there was such an inferiority complex, one that shone through even during her Support Conversations with Subaki, but on the other Severa loved her mother SO much - enough that in Awaking she called Cordelia the perfect mother.
just helping out those confused about Caeldori and Cordelia here. they are separate characters, that share many of the same traits the reason they are in game is because the characters who won the japanese popular character contest (Tharja, Gaius, Cordelia) were brought into Fates in some way, this time around they are the Child units. the in game reason why as the child of Severa, Caeldori and Cordelia look identical is because it is a funny concept. the mother who Severa was not on the best of terms with, only to have those memories and the relationship repeat with her Daughter although this time she gains an understanding. similar to how Soliel cannot sing or dance even as the child of Inigo and Azura though Shigure can. or how Ophelia has the Mark of Naga and how Owain is happy because his mothers mark never surfaced. Rhajat and Asugi are confusing though, but its easier to think of them as Pre-incarnations of there respective character, or just characters who came out very similar. if Noire won the popularity contest over Owain or Inigo though we can say that similar conversations would emerge if she were to be the mother of Rhajat though
MrSonicspeed59 well rhajat is in the game so the most logical choice is noire, it just makes more sense, it would make more sense if noire replaced arthur as retainer but we still keep arthur just make him a vigilante or something you get later on, but noire could have had a chance in the game, it was a wasted oppurtunity.
Knowing the "Severa"/Caeldori conversation and its unique yet still generic support, how would the unique yet generic support between "Noire"/Rhajat go?
+MegaWTFgamer I can't remember exactly, I know I've seen an English translated script of the original Japanese version somewhere online, you'll have to look for it. I'm sorry I can't remember exactly.
+Joshua Castaneda (ChaosGallant6) didn't think you'd be a fan of these videos chaos... And you realize I have you in Skype right? If you wanna talk just go there dummy
ssshhh, you're never on there anyways, and neither am I have the time. Also recently got a copy of Conquest and been watching these videos for my entertainment and knowledge if I get Birthright and Revelations as well, dummy.
so, somehow caeldori, asugi, and rhajat all eventually travel to ylisse and change their names, but if selena marries subaki it creates a paradox, cause caeldori traveled to ylisse and had severa who traveled to nohr and had caeldori who traveled to ylisse and had severa and so on! so which one is the others mother!?!
Jared Steege it's not confirmed how cordelia, tharja, and gaius are in both games so either theory could be true. Xochitl Rosales severa, owain, and inigo were born in ylisse, they just changed their names and traveled to fates, it's what the hidden truths dlc is about.
WHY MUST EVERYTHING RELATING TO THE AWAKENING CHARACTERS BE SO SAD AFTER PLAYING HIDDEN TRUTHS!!! SAIZO HAS BROKEN INTO MY ROOM AND LEFT CHOPPED ONIONS!
I find amazing how you people get to confuse by this, thinking Caeldori and Cordelia are the same person. Nohr and Hoshido are "mythical kingdoms" in Awakening timeline, meaning they existed but they got destroyed or something and people forgot about them or even doubt they existed at all (like Atlantis in real life). Best case scenario Caeldori might be a VEEEERY distant ancestor of Cordelia. Now I would explain more but I would spoil the Recollection of Bubbles DLC.
Garcia Eduardo They could have just traveled forward in time the same WHY that Severa, Owain, and Inigo traveled back, but that's just my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I swear to god Caeldori stumbles on a Dragon’s Gate and is actually the mother of Severa in another timeline. Thus simultaneously breaking and fulfilling the most messed up Grandfather Paradox EVER.
Kind of like how Owain's entire existance hinges on him meeting his mom as Odin Dark, and how him becoming Odin Dark hinges on meeting Niles while he still goes by Owain (if Warriors is canon).
Severa is a character who is naturally easy to dislike at first, but then naturally hard to dislike later if one puts in the effort to see more of her character via other supports. I remember first thinking "Wow, what a gold digging bitch" at her first impressions and C supports in FE:A, then later thinking "Aw, she just wants to be someone not in another person's shadow" near the end of the game.
I wish there was DLC coming in where the cast of Fates will join up with that of Awakening for their final battle with Grima. All the adults and some childrem could be there. Which could segway in all sorts of events!! I crave seeing Caeldori talking wiyh Cordelia. Rhajat and Asugi conversing with Tharja and Gaius. Oohhhh and Ophelia reuniting with Lissa (Before Awakening Xenologue got me wanting more) SOLIEL AND OLIVIA. I'D DIE. ASDFGHJKL
Whipper T. Snapper Probably she would feel too... embarrased as she sees her dance an reminiscing Laslow's or her inability to dance... Olivia and Soleil has more than Soleil flirts
I particularly feel bad for Severa/Selena because I had my unit marry Cordelia. Just imagine growing up with a badass mom, a respected tactical genius for a father, and a little sister who, I'd imagine, probably outshone her older sister due to inheriting her father's intellect? Poor girl... having to live in the shadow of all of her family's success and achievements...
talk about triggered. grows up in the shadow of her perfect mother only to marry the so called "mr.perfect" of this dimension (your growths are terrible tsubaki) and gives birth to a child that is a spitting image of her mother.
+xendingalot I find it hilarious that Subaki is literally the only Pegasus Rider obtainable (not counting capture units) that can't hit hard for his life, yet ironically has access to the hyper offense Samurai class and its skills.
Severa/Selena Born the daughter of Cordelia and Gaius Marries a male version of her mother Has a daughter who is an anagram of her mother And her daughter marries an anagram of her father (Asugi) That's my story of Severa/Selena lol
Selena Timeline thingy: Cordelia gave birth to Severa, Severa got turned into Selena thanks to human Anankos, Selena got sent to Nohr, Selena got married to Subaki if it's canon, Selena gave birth to Caeldori, Caeldori is an anagram of Cordelia, remove the t, replace the 2 with a 3, destroy a 4, make up a new letter, yep, Awakening's Cordelia is a Load of rice, more specifically, Riceload
Challenge: Rearrange all other awakening names and say what country they would be in. So far: Vaike-Kevai(Hoshido) Gregor-Georgre(nohr) Sumia-Mausi(Hoshido) Stahl-Thals(Nohr) Virion-Niviro(Hoshido) Olivia-Violia(Hoshido) Donnel-Lendon(Nohr)
I don't know about anyone else, but I found this really sad... Just remembering from Awakening how her mother died then she traveled back and met her mother before she was born, to then have a daughter that is basically a replica of her dead and living mother.
(Sorry, missclick post) Just imagine how Severa/Selena (take your pick) feels, even at the end, she says how she and her mother are truly two different people. What I'm trying to say is the she misses her mother, alot, but she has Caeldori (I heard it is a cool anagram for something, riceload was it?) now, so its nice, but sad at the same time, would nostalgia fit the word here?
Just comment here to prepare myself for the Forging Bonds. Because I saw this: "Characters appearing in the upcoming Forging Bonds" and it said - Caeldori: Cordelia. Welp, off I go to see it in action in a couple hours.
Wait a second, Cordelia is the only character that I married en Awakening then, that means Caeldori is my Grandaughter! Oh my, I am too young to be grand father
I just realized that Fates' kids are determined by their dad, so Severa only gets to be her mother in Revelation. *Which is sad because this is perfect.*
I really like how personal Selena and Caeldori's support conversations are. Kinda almost makes me like Selena. Well sure, she's fine in fates, but I hated her as Serena in awakening.
So is Selena is her own Grandma and great Grandma and great great Grandma and great great great Grandma and great great great great Grandma. And so is Cordelia. Not even Fry can compete.
Funnily enough Selena either isn’t canon for this pairing or goes back on her word as she is no where to be seen in Heirs of Fate and Caeldori doesn’t have her translocation crystal.
I know that Caeldori, Asugi and Rhajat are reincanrations of Cordelia, Gaius and Tharja, but I want to share a theory. We know that Ylisse and Nohr/Hoshido are parallel worlds. What if a person of one world can have another version of himself in the other world? So Caeldori is Cordelia, but a parallel Cordelia, an alternative version of her who lives in another universe. And Selena is the mother of an alternative version of her mother. I give you a headache, uh?
The "Before Awakening" stuff kinda gives hints that Fates took place thousands of years before Awakening (I think Chrom even mentions that he's heard of Nohr and Hoshido as ancient, nearly mythical kingdoms), so it's pretty much the same universe at different times.
+Rafael Castillo In fact, as in Fates there's no recall of Marth, and in Awakening there is, it would mean that Fates takes place before even the first Fire Emblem Sorry if I couldn't explain myself fine, it's because I'm mexican
Cross-n-Run 101 yes but in Rhajat japanese support conversation with Corrin, I think she said that she is a reincarnation of Tharja and Corrin a reincarnation of Corrin, then Fates takes place after... which is weird because of the dlc with Chrom, where the meet Chrom as if the stories where parallel, or when Chrom calls Hoshido and Nohr mythic kingdom as if they were past kingdoms... Two possibilities : past, present and future are mixed, or the writters themselves don't know what events happened in the first place.
Ok, I’m going to simplify this complex family. Selena, Cordelia’s daughter, Marries Subaki, a genderswapped Cordelia. They have a kid named Caeldori, Who reincarnates into Cordelia.Cordeliception.
The funny part of this is that if Hoshido-Nohr is actually pre-historic version of Archanea. Which means Subaki is Cordelia's ancestor, which means...Severa married her own great-great-great-great-grandfather....
This is my kind of revelations file all the families are super fucked up like corrin's sister being his mother in law or caeldoria being her own grandmother ah so fucked up it feels better than coffee in the morning this is all of my files sometimes I'll go overboard and fuck it up as much as possible
Caeldori appears to be an anagram of Cordelia. I wonder if it's like the japanese versions where Shiida's name was Caeda meaning her name could be changed to Shiildori or Shiidori, although because of the fact it is an anagram this might not come true.
+PagansAnger In Japan, Caeldori was named Matoi, and the original Japanese name for Cordelia was Tiamo. They're anagrams in both versions. The same letters, arranged differently.
anyone can tell me if are another "unique" conversation like this with a another character, i saw female corrin and rhajat like daughter have a different conversation, but are another ?
There are some changes in Corrin's supports in some cases depending on if its male Corrin or female Corrin talking to them - example with Caeldori herself - Male Corrin's supports with her are all about Corrin becoming her mentor/tutor after Subaki purposefully hypes Corrin up to Caeldori so that Caeldori will study under Corrin instead of Subaki and thus not realize that Subaki isn't quite as perfect as Caeldori has been led to believe from all the tall tales about him. Female Corrin's supports with her are them bonding over a shared love of romance novels.
