Fire Emblem: Nintendo needs to do better to make this series available 

I would LOVE a GBA Fire Emblem collection on the Switch, and they could charge full price for it with minimal effort. They wouldn’t have to do much, just clean up the sprites and improve the UI slightly. However, I can see why the 3DS, DS, and GameCube/Wii titles are going to stay locked to old hardware. The dual screens of the former two wouldn’t translate easily to the Switch, and the Tellius games would probably need a significant visual overhaul. It’s a shame because they are fantastic games.

I think most of it has to do with them doing remakes of their older games, is a bit of a stretch maybe, but I feel like they are trying to go more the pokemon route, where instead of rereleasing older games in new consoles, they just want to remake the game altogether. They already remade FE 1, 2 and 3, and there's a huge rumor currently of a remake of FE4 (Genealogy of the Holy War) in the works. The only issue is this remakes are kinda far from each other, which is kinda good, but also makes for a very long wait for newer players to get a chance to experience those games at a sooner date, like, even if the rumor of FE4 turns out to be true, the people who were wondering more about Sigurd in Engage will probably have to wait like a year or two to find out. Also, one issue that is worth noting is that they have actually brought older games to newer consoles, BUT, they are usually restricted by some form of limited time offer. FE1 is actually available on the switch, but you had to buy it during the anniversary celebration that happened last year, it was cheap and all, but you can no longer have access to it, unless you want to buy a physical copy with the collection from scalpers. There's also the Sacred Stones, which was available on the 3DS, and it was given for free, but to my understanding, it was only given to the people who bought the first generation of 3DS as an apology from nintendo due to some issues they were having at the time with the system.

Just buy a japanese New 3ds XL, download fire emblem 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ,awakening, the three fates routes and echoes: Shadows of Valentia before the eShop closes next month. EZ. Then you have to buy overpriced second hand DS games. Sacred stones also came out but only for the ambassador program and the base 3ds doesn't have access to the 2 SNES games. Fire emblem 1, 3, 4 are available on japanese NSO and fire emblem 6 with the expansion pass. Fire emblem 1 in english was accessible on the Switch. The games are totally available guys it's litterally so easy I don't know why you are upset just learn japanese and spend 300+$ before the end of march.

Old news, friend. Just emulate.

I wonder if it's Intelligent Systems themselves, not Nintendo, that just don't care enough about making older titles more available.

*correction. Fe the Blazing Blade is not the first GBA Fe. It's The Binding Blade which never made it to the west. Otherwise, yeah, I agree. Please let met play Genealogy and Thracia legally. Pls nintendo.

Honestly Nintendo has made so many bad decisions these last few years that at this point what you're asking is unfortunately the equivalent of a miracle...
