This is the map theme called "Crimea Attacks" from "Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance". This is also an available music for Super Smash Bros. Brawl! Enjoy!
Its so sad that most of todays FE fans never got a chance to play this until like 15 years after release. I had this game preordered so i was playing it day 1 release. What a time to be a FE fan, so many amazing games released around that time.
I mean I came from FE3H and am playing this game right now, and its amazing. I hope the PoR and RD leaks are true so I can experience this on my switch.
This game came out 3 days before my 12th birthday. I went to Gamestop, saw the cover and thought it was Marth from Smash. Went home with the game and the rest is history. Been a huge FE fan since then.
@@spitfiremanlizerd One question I never managed to get any answer to is whether that game has gained popularity in Ukraine by now, in which case there would be emulators in Ukrainian...
@@spitfiremanlizerd Thats not true. These days getting FE9 on hardware is extremely expensive. Im lucky enough to still have my copy of the game but anyone looking to pick it up to play will have to shell out 2-300 dollars .
I think the fact he had children says a lot more. Considering what ike and soren went through together, it's really not unrealistic that they'd have a paired ending. There really is nothing romantic about their relationship. You're all a bunch of weirdos
I love how Smash Bros can't get Fire Emblem song name right. This is apparently "Crimean Army Sortie", The Black Knight theme is "Against the DARK Knight" and Together we Ride is just "Fire Emblem". Although, to be fair, they did add enough new parts to qualify it as a separate song.
Crimean Army Sortie is honestly a better name. A sortie is a military move where an army comes out of a defensive position to an offensive one. This perfectly describes what Crimea does in the game.
this music should be titled "shit is getting real" the fact that it plays just after most your units promote, and you start going in the heart of daein, love that fact that ike states that he's gonna be the last thing ashnard sees, he became so balsy, but the difficulty bump keeps you from becoming cocky and punishes you for that, it's really awesome
Definitely my favorite FE9 map theme. By this point on a normal playthrough, most of your heavily used characters are freshly promoted, including Ike, and I like the new direction the story takes at this point. It's time to stop running from Daein. It's time to stop running around at the Apostle's every whim. It's time to charge the enemy lines and crash straight through them like a car driving through a window!
@@OrangeKyle91 On most playthroughs now, yes. But if you're a new player starting out, like I was when I played this game, Mist was around level 17, and had to force my units to a crawl just to keep up with them.
@Bobby G If you play like me, I never promote my units unless they reach level 20. The only exception to this rule are villagers in Echoes. Too often have I promoted early only for it to do no good. This includes healers. While it may be suboptimal to use her in combat, it is recommended should you actually attempt to beat the Black Knight. A promoted Mist at level 20/20 will stand a much better chance (especially on Hard Mode, where you haven't the experience to give to everyone). Plus, it isn't like she's useless as I think she's the only unit that can utilize the Sonic Sword and the Runesword to their maximum potential (though it requires two arms scrolls). If the method works for you, then go right ahead. But my method usually helps her to get the sonic sword as a proper defense anyway. A forged steel sword will get her to the proper level anyways.
This soundtrack is so fucking badass. I've only played FE9 once, back in 2015. But this, along with a few other songs have always stuck out to me. But this one might be the best. It's so epic, like something out of a movie. I especially like the part at 5:53 where the war drums start to come back and the track transitions from peaceful to hectic again.
My favorite map theme in the Fire Emblem series. I played most of the games and to me, none of them slap hard as this one. The Tellius games are amazing.
I remember when I played this level for the first time I recruited Shinnon by complete accident without knowing how specific the requirements were. Granted, he's very underpowered at this point, but he is cool enough to make up for it. FE10 Shinnon on the other hand competes with Jamke for best archer in the series.
Hassassin Assassin Use Janiff or Ulki to talk to Naesala and then he will talk to Reyson and leave the battle. If you don't kill any of his ravens before he talks to Reyson he will give Reyson a Knight Ring.
First FE game ever and i always played this as a kid. My surprise when i found out there were way more and it got a sequel. I was one happy camper for sure.
@WilliamGamerSwag785 Yeah, that's what Super Smash Brothers Brawl named it. But, here on the game itself it's called: Crimea Attacks. The publishers of Brawl could have renamed it for lots of reasons like legal or lost in translation, etc.
I love this song a LOT! It's so beautiful and it immediately blew me away on the very first map this started playing on. I'd often just listen to it instead of concentrating on the battle. XD Also it's one of the very few songs I've heard that sounds white to me (I have synesthesia).
@Croxyndul Fire Emblem is one of the few series nintendo has that can be called a "gem." not many people know of what fire emblem is, but those who do are thoroughly enjoyed with this series' storyline and very catchy music. As i am typing this response, i am in beat to this song. that is how catchy the series is. this series is almost a crown jewel or a main staple to the nintendo franchise, up there with link, mario, and samus, but not quite.
The snow coming down, Daein army advancing even more, Ike recently promoted, shit is getting really serious. Try talking to Shinon with all the Greil mercenaries, some of the conversations are really interesting. Specifically Shinon talking to Titania, one of my favorite conversations from the game. Path of Radiance is a masterpiece on all fronts, every song tells a story or sets a mood.
discover ike in ssbb =) wow i love this guy so much he look so cool discover his game serie =) i cannot wait to see him play path =) wow he sure is badass realise that radiant dawn exist =) wait there's more?????
Technically, both PoR and RD's wars were world wars (although if we're really being technical only RD was since Goldoa eventually got involved at the very end).
@nerserus2 Yes and no. Poorly balanced game engine was one thing yes, but it was also meant to beat in the almost crushing fact that the black knight was nowhere near the skill to beat Greil in his prime nor his son.
I would almost imagine myself playing this while I am going down south for the first time in how long while I am finding my future dream home and career and finishing up my time in college and also after I graduate from college perhaps, run for Congress.
@MarioLinkGenofan No, I'm just a little upset that everyone thinks FE4 is the best in the series, especially since I, personally, didn't like it that much.
@gyppygirl2021 Curse people from having a different opinion from you! Damn them all! Seriously I believe FE4 is the best FE and so do a lot of people, you however don't, live and let live.
