Being a guy who's never played a Fire Emblem game before, I must say that this theme is absolutely amazing. Byleth getting released in Smash Ultimate makes me want to play Three Houses really badly now.
@@patchslaw7 As someone who's played both Three Houses and Smash for over 500 hours each, it makes me smile when I see stuff like this. If you have any questions, ask us here! I, especially, will be happy to help you if you're having trouble adapting to certain stuff.
So first you go to space 23. 42. And fight the guy on the left then use the help with the gambit after that Ingrid will attack from behind and block the mage from getting hurt and then I'll attack the guy to your right okay!
If you like tactical RPG games / social links and anime, I highly recommend this game. I'm not an anime guy and never tried this genre of games, but I'm not disappointed. This a really good game.
@@yawnaroo As a Wyvern Lord with full health, Alert Stance+ and an Evasion Ring, his evasion goes up to 65 and for enemies with inaccurate weapons, he can become impossible to hit.
damn, fe3h has such a strong soundtrack, it brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it. I love this game in its entirety, words can't describe just how much I do.
I enjoyed the game so much it was surprising to find out how rushed and almost incomplete it is in some aspects...sometimes it feels like it could have been a timeless masterpiece of gaming like Mario 64 or FFVII if it had some more time in the oven
@@deckardshaw6696 indeed it is or a close second to the Gamecube FE games. The new one decided to be a nostalgia trip for the franchise with a more generic story and some weird choices (polishing the rings cof cof)
i genuinely don’t think anything will ever live up to the insane hype i felt when i first heard this during the first battle. three houses was my first fire emblem game and i didn’t really know what to expect but this music set the atmosphere perfectly. hearing this epic background with the house leaders battle ready phrases for the first time is such a strong memory for me, this song will always be nostalgic and i think it’s genuinely my favorite track from three houses :)
I will never forget the shivers i got last year when i heard this song for the first time in the game. Man what a experience i never wanted to finish the fight lol
@@alexalasognatrice726 Thanks! Just started NG+ and I chose the Black Eagles again. I might play other routes in the near future but now I'll just stick with Crimson Flower.
@@alexalasognatrice726 My first route was Golden Deer so when I started my second playthrough with Black Eagles, I just adopted I mean recruited everyone from Golden Deer (of course except Claude and Hilda).
The issue is that Fire Emblem is being overly represented in Smash Bros. Don't get me wrong, I like Fire Emblem. Played quite a few of the games when I was younger. However, the Fighters Pass up until him was all 3rd Party. Suddenly throwing in a character from a series with 7 fighters is already overkill. And, let's be honest, he's a trash character anyways. He doesn't play good at all.
I saw Byleth revealed in smash and didn't know who he was so I went out and bought three houses just so I could feel a stronger connection to the character
I didn’t realize how many people out there hadn’t played a Fire Emblem game until I saw how many people’s first encounter with this was Smash Bros. Hopefully that’s changed since then. FE is a fantastic series.
Yea Engage's music is pretty good. Brodia and Solm are among my faves. But its nothing like this game with literally every track being an absolute banger
It makes me think I'm the main character doing the final blow on the boss of an anime and my power is built up by all the people I met on a journey to that moment. That would just be awesome
That’s because music has a silent language that speaks to you even without words.Thee language of the song is about that feeling a main protagonist has when they’ve had enough and remember what they’re fighting for,, building the will to put everything on the line in order to save the people they love. When there is no other choice but to win.
This was my first FE game after quietly observing the series for a while, and damn is this series good. Currently playing through Echoes, which is shaping up to be my favourite out of the games I've played of this series so far.
@@hemmydall Was gonna say! If you want a good bridge into older fire emblem games and have a pc that can emulate gamecube games, play Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn! They're both massive games with an amazing fleshed out world and story
Not sure if you have yet, but you’ll be jamming out to the music and making each battle 100x longer than it should be. That’s how good the soundtrack be
@@masu5781 I played the DLC (Aelfric the biggest Simp ever existed) and the Blue Lions Route (Holy Shit did Dimitri went ABSOLUTLY Crazy) Is there anything i can be hyoed for in the other 2 Routes?
@@whitelock1258 While listening to Dupstep Damn I loved Claude's Story, especially cause I finally knew what Rhea is after saving her (pretty dark tho) Now I only need to finish Edelgard and the Knights of Seiros
every time I hear this song I wanna play 3 houses again, this game is probably one of my favorite, if not, my favorite game ever. i was so happy when Byleth got in smash
This is the music that makes you feel like you can charge a beast 8 times your size and beat it. This is the music that gives me inspiration to develop games myself.
i cried a little... this song means so much to me ;-; this was my first game on the nintendo switch after taking a long break from console gaming and it was the first jrpg game i ever played. i remember playing it all christmas and being able to leave the game and come right back to it after eating or ice skating in the christmas season. i chose golden deers just because i thought the crew looked wacky and now i can barely force myself to replay the game as eagles or lions. i remember hearing this sound track and just bopping to it as a wiped enemies out and i never thought it would become a nostalgia theme. thank you intelligent systems for this fantastic game and to all of the composers for such a beautiful ost!!!
I found this soundtrack randomly while I was searching for something else If the game's soundtrack is this good, The actual game has to be even better, right ?
In a few years this will be nostalgic for many people who visit here. With that I have a challenge for those of you who will look back occasionally from the future: Contemplate the good times you had with the characters you played as in the game and think about the character growth you went through in the last few years.
sadly, this happens to also be the best battle theme, which is a shame as it's completely devalued by the second half of the game. still, its contrast to the main battle theme of part two is emblematic (hehe, get it?) of the journeys of the characters. fodlan winds is bombastic, upbeat, and ultimately hopeful and starry-eyed, representing the youth and optimism of the young students. by contrast, chasing daybreak is solemn, austere, and serious, channeling the weight of the decisions that our heroes have made in their struggles to see their visions of the world be realized. incredible composition all around.
Ah, the Sling Theme. In February 2020, I had major problems with school bullies. They dislocated my elbow. Some days into the injury, I went to the local electronics store and bought myself a copy of Three Houses. I loved that game, and played it with my arm on the sling. That's why I call it the Sling Theme.
@@silverrath Sure I am. The HS is over. I am now a proud student of Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering on the Gdynia Maritime University!
@@yourconscience8018 Sure it is. Did not finish it because of the Computer Science major on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering on the Gdynia Maritime University and my game dev startup. Also, Europa Universalis IV.
This is the Seizure theme for me because I had a random, non-epileptic seizure, and then I played this game a ton after that because I had recently got it and I couldn’t do much for the next week
I'm watching a full run through of this game via a youtuber. Just something to do while I'm quarantined. I'm not even playing the game, and am only halfway through his run but I'm already getting post-game depression (the slump you feel after a good anime/book series, game or movie has finished). I think the game is doing well on Switch and hopefully well enough for another non-handheld (figure of speech) Fire Emblem game. I'm just trying to stay grateful for the experience of the game instead of letting it get me down. I have off and on again hand pain so I don't game too much these days. The last FE games I played and own are FE8 and POR. Thanks for reading if you got this far.
It's great to see that you're enjoying the game even if you're not experiencing it! Are you watching NicoB's playthrough? Because his is by far my favorite of this game. Although the hand pain sounds like a really huge problem to deal with :( is it that bad? FE8 and Path of Radiance are fantastic games as well, so those are some great ones to have. Regardless I'm glad you're having a great experience with Three Houses!
dunno what playthrough you’re watching but there are 4 main routes to the game, though crimson flower is short. i have well over 100 hours without dlc and still plenty more to go, so i don’t think you’ll run out of content any time soon.
@@bigoldbenny1235 Fire Emblem and Pokemon hold the same amount of character slots. Pokemon- Pikachu, Pichu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Lucario, Pokemon Trainer, Greninja, Icineroar- 8 slots FE- Marth, Roy, Ike, Lucina, Robin, Corrin, Chrom, Byleth- 8 slots If FE has too many characters, then so does Pokemon.

I've never played this game, only the Fire Emblem Heroes. I was always fond of this soundtrack as it gets me hyped to play but I never knew what it was called. I'm so glad I found it!!
A friend of mine played Three Houses literally just because he heard Fodlan Winds playing in the background of a voice note i sent to him, and he is in now in love with the game as much as i am.
i remember this being my first fire emblem game. i started it with a friend, and just for kicks, i was like "dude, i'm playing the hardest difficulty", since i didn't think i'd get attached to turn-based strategy games. (in case you're wondering, i played through the entire game like that. i forgot i put it on max difficulty, so i just thought the entire game was hard as hell) now here i am, about 2-3 years later, my favorite games being fire emblem, civilization, and all the other big turn-based strategy games. thank you fire emblem, for creating probably the worst person to play a shooter game with.
