@@greensabr200 Are you dumb? Anything they show about a game that ISN'T OUT YET is a spoiler. It's the idiocy of using a sentence for something SO OBVIOUS.
I see one problem with this game... It’s not in my hands yet. Update: well, it’s July 26 today, now there’s really no problem with this game. Enjoy it everyone! We’ve earned it!
This woman needs to present every FE gameplay/presentation from now on. She was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Thank you nintendo, very cool.
She worked at ign, reviewed Awakening and she loved it. Joined Nintendo aftewards, helped with the English main theme of Fates and now showing FE games at E3.
Her name is Audrey Drake I love her. She worked at ign for a spell. Her bread and butter was reviewing Nintendo IPs. She was by far my favorite reviewer at IGN. When she landed a job at Nintendo I was really happy for her. It seemed like her dream job. It was a perfect fit for her. She is highly knowledgeable and passionate for the games she plays. I love watching her treehouses and run through of the games. She is very informative and genuine person. I could listen to her inform me about Nintendo games forever. As other commenters have pointed out, she ignores the other young people she presents with. I watch every E3 and she does it every year. When someone else makes a comment she quickly dismisses them and returns to something she is doing in game or a topic she is more interested in. I can't help but to feel second hand embarrassment when it happens. I understand her enthusiasm, she reminds me of myself when I'm passionate on a topic. Just wish she would listen to her colleagues a little more and let them say what to they need to say. I love Audrey Drake but she can intimidating I feel. I am curious to hear other presenters opinions and comments as well especially from the new faces I see in the treehouse. Anyways she's great
I really appreciate how much you can tell the person playing the game really loves it. Like, she even has nicknames for many of the characters. It really makes me excited to get it.
Presentation is key Cyberpunk 2077, for example, wouldn't have my wallet if it weren't for the well thought out trailers _(and a certain lovable dork Keanu)_
I thought the same, it was all in all a very enjoyable presentation. I, being a pretty hardcore FE fan, was pretty sceptical about this game but this makes me passionate again. Well done!
You ladies did a solid job. Honestly the little hints and revelations you threw in every once in a while (Marriage after timeskip, recruiting students from other houses) were the best part, even better than seeing the gameplay. This game looks amazing. So excited.
@@Starwars-Fanboy I saw people complain about how they just wanted them to do game play but I'm so happy that they took time to leave the hints and new info that they did. It was really fun to watch for me. They did a great job at making it an enjoyable experience.
Marriage? I didn't ear that, now i am gonna listen all again. XD I would like to convince other units from other houses, i miss the chance back in Fates games. i didn't want to kill Kagero or Saizo in Nohr route, or Flora in Hoshido. U.U Niles and Orochi needed to capture some of them.
Thank you so much for putting people in charge of this presentation that obviously had some experience with the game. They did a great job showing of the game. I was afraid we’d get another “Three Heroes” commentary again, but these guys really impressed me. Great job!
"You're not just choosing the students you want to teach. You may be choosing which side you want to take in, I don't know, an impending war." Ha! Trivial matters such as war mean nothing to me. I only strive for the noblest goal of them all. Finding best girl.
It's obviously gonna be Dorothea, just look at her cute hat and choker. I'd also accept Edelgard, Petra, Mercedes, and possibly this new teacher called Shamir.
Always remember this: *_Smart people often remain quiet. It is usually morons who scream the loudest._* There are tons of people excited for this game. They just aren't as visible as the haters.
Ziggy Gamma yep! She used to have a brown hair and she's gained some weight it looks like. She was one of my favorite reporters back then. And It was really sad when she left. But now she's here, so i guess it wssn't all that bad
This was honestly so wholesome, I felt so bad considering the chat was so toxic but besides that it was a wonderful three house. I'm absolutely in love with the calendar idea and the fact that it seems more immersive then previous games in terms of getting to know the characters and building bonds. So excited for the release, wish I could get the limited edition pack but it's 100 Euro so errrrrreer
Tbh, the commentary for this game was very wholesome. This game is very different from the previous FE games, and it seems that it's fully voice acted as well! I'm excited for this ^.^
"Pursue a romantic relationship with someone.. *COUGHS* DIMITRI" "If you want to play the Japanese voices, YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN" BLESSSS DEFINITELY NEED TO BUY
These were definitely the best presenters-knowledgable, passionate, and funny. This kinda convinced me to get the game-even if I haven’t beat the last ones
I'm honestly not so sure about knowledgeable when it comes to actually playing the game. Let's not ignore that their first turn was using a Spear vs an Axe. And then rushing to protect the unit that they just put on deaths doorstep because they at least in that moment forgot that the weapon triangle is a thing, and Spears want nothing to do with fighting axes. Not knocking them, they may have in the stress of presenting just forgot. It just doesn't make them look that great.
I love how hyped are the commentators, you can hear that they truly enjoy the game, especially the main gamer and this really sells well the game. Also, we're all fawning over best husbando Raphael ♡
I will constantly force her out of her room as shes my favourite character from what's been shown so far. Also she is similar to Lute from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones in terms of both looks and personality. Lute was the MVP of my Sacred Stones play through and absolutely destroyed any enemies she fought. I'm going to turn Bernadetta into a mage to try to create Lute 2.0. Hopefully she also ends up just as good.
I’ve never played a fire emblem game before but watching the presenters play this so enthusiastically and passionately makes me feel like getting this when it comes out.
Same here, I was so apprehensive at the first trailer. But the timeskip, gameplay, sheer passion these commentators have, and dimitri- I mean, and the characters have totally sold me. So hype!!
Can we just talk about how toxic every non Fire Emblem player was in the Nintendo live comments? All I heard was “Boring, We don’t care, where is smash”.
Honestly it's mostly smash players in general. During the Livestream for the Splatoon World Championship, it went on longer for Splatoon because it was pretty neck and neck. A lot of smash fans were extremely salty and were insulting Splatoon while saying "Where is Smash" the whole time.
@Grant's Voice On Games his brand new in-game social life cos who needs real people. Up top! Oh wait I just realised I gave up social life for these games
The person playing seems genuinely enthusiastic about the game and fully immersed in the flow of gameplay. Puts me at ease that this game will end up as fantastic as it seems~~~!
Unfortunately, I think people blame the abundance of Fire Emblem characters in Smash for all their problems in life, regardless of whether or not they've played ANY of the games :/ But hey, I'm right there with ya. One of my most anticipated games of this year! :)
they weren't being toxic cause it was FE, they were being toxic cause the commentators were rambling on forever, yes we want to hear about the game but 30 minutes is a bit much, especially considering yesterday's treehouse was like an hour long.
@elcí I feel the same with the ability to change classes. Older FE games had the item to change classes, but it was very limited, just one or two if you wanted to experiment a bit. Newer FE games make it easy to make anyone anything, and that leads to broken characters...
@elcí I guess but in Genealogy of the Holy War you could save midway through a chapter and reset back to that point. Same with Shadow Dragon that had battle fiel saves. They were always there to make you say "ok do I go for the s rank or just reset"
tbh, could probably get some rudimentary growth rates based on stat totals and what we know of various class' average base stats across the series, since level 15+ is actually pretty decent to extrapolate data from.
"I've done it! I've compiled the Three Houses Growth Rates!" "Sir this just says 'Edelgard +1 STR sometimes'" "Yes, do you doubt it as factual?" "Well, no--" "Then I see no problem, away with you!"
I have no doubt, story and gameplay wise, this can be the best FE to date. Romance still on but only after the timeskip. Rewind mechanic. Lots of new and evolved gameplay mechanics. Great voice acting plus dual audio. No second gen children confirmed. 10/10 soundtrack plus the fact ablaze tracks return!!! I legit cannot wait for this game!!
@@beansfebreeze Sometimes I just don't want to reset the whole chapter, besides, it seems the rewind mechanic in this game is much limited compared to SoV.
Lord Ozzie Rewind mechanic is a pretty neat balance between classic and casual play, and good for convenience for a game that you can take on the go (I remember being on a story chapter in the seventh game and I lost one of my best units to one of the last enemies on the map... I put the game down and really didn’t feel like playing the map again). I hope that your chances to use it are a lot more scarce than they were in Valentia so it isn’t broken (And it seems to be that way, like you said) It pretty much has a bunch of aspects that I loved from games I’ve already played... I am soooo excited!
@@redlove8861 Try Bayonetta and Astral Chain. I was always salty because they are Switch exclusives. You will also get a free code for Bayonetta 1 if you buy 2.
@@hecatehallow5644 salt... Lots and lots of salt. Practically half the chat hated literally everything about this direct exept for the smash content... Even still some people weren't even happy about that... Like, I can't even count the times I've seen the sleeping emoji or people say **yawn** Did I mention that there was salt?
Joshua Great series though you must be mindful as to which ones to play. Some are not so great. Started with Path of Radiance myself on the Gamecube and it is still my favorite overall. Many of the older Gameboy games are still worth playing as well.
The toxicity this game received from other Nintendo fans who don't care about FE makes me sad and disappointed in the overall Nintendo community. However, the fact that for once in all these years, the community of Fire Emblem is finally united and everyone is genuinely hyped for 3H makes me very proud, Naga bless
I remember the E3 and it was super sad. I've tried FE once and wasn't a fan, but seeing this game in E3 made me so excited for all the fans, because it looked so good. Even if it's not for me, I could tell how excited FE fans would be for it. It was sad to see all the toxicity. Tbh, this one looks so good that I want to give it another shot!
@@sageleafscribbles3940 Well, so far it is really great, and the majority if players seems to agree with that. It also did pretty well in terms of sales, judging by the Amazon bestseller list, and it is overall a big step forward for the franchise. It has a lot of complexity to it, but once you figure it out, it's incredibly addicting
I think it helps that most people that click on this video click on it out of interest. While people in the live chat are just watching it because they want a specific game. So they keep bitching till that game comes around.
Ikr someone said "Fire emblem,so overrated" Really? I don't think so and "No one wants to see this it's crap" :( Unfortunatly the live chat will never change
@@lurkingshadows4800 you haven't even said anything that goes against my points. Saying someone is trolling and leaving it at that is a pathetic argument that no one takes seriously. Like, the moment you have to go to that as your argument, you lost.
@@1trevor30 What points, and why would I be trying to win anything? Are you 12? 😂 Edit: I love how you deleted your comment after that. For reference to the people viewing this, he was raving about dragon quest getting a newcomer in smash.
I hate how people call Fire Emblem weeb Sword people like it’s a series that has grown over nearly 30 years and people don’t have respect because Smash Bros
It's not Smash's fault, it's just a regular ol' case of people being jerks online. Smash is my favorite game, but I would never disrespect the Fire Emblem fans having their time in the sun.
@Weston Meyer It's not gonna happen. Even DLC fighter for Smash so far has had one thing in common, their series have never been represented in Smash before. I don't count Piranha Plant because he was a bonus offer, separate from the Fighter's Pass.
That blonde presenter was legit detailed and a fan of this. While i was legit a fan of her lol. But all jokes aside this is taking a whole new direction and i cant wait to see how it turns out.
This woman is call Audrey Drake, she used to work for IGN on the Nintendo section. She is a super fan and very cool person. I love when Nintendo lets her present games on the Treehouse.
Lynhardt has been confirmed to be a guy during this stream your not the only one so don't feel bad about thinking that SHE was a HE (I'm one of those people who thought they were a women)
@@soundwave1479 I know that Lynhardt is a HE, with she I meant the women playing the game in the showcase since she made him a horserider in the gameplay
It's honestly so refreshing to see people who not just know a great deal amount the game and give us so much good information but also clearly really enjoy the game. Not sure who the women who was talking about the game in this video was but she is great make sure to keep her for future titles. Honestly the difference between these two and the ign crew lol....
@@OfficialNeonScratch It's cause most people came for other games which have a bigger fan base than fire emblem, they wanted to see their game more than three houses the fact that fire emblem is a slow game doesn't help
Audrey did a phenomenal job with this presentation. Great speaker, really sold the game well through a wonderful explanation of gameplay mechanics and story. I can't wait for this game, looks incredible. Bravo Nintendo
This. THIS is how you do a treehouse presentation right! The lady leading the video clearly knew what she was talking about and seemed to genuinely enjoy the game and not only seeing the game in action but watching someone who seems to really love it makes you genuinely want to buy the game. Entertaining video, effective advertising, good job Nintendo!
Man the live chat for this game was more toxic than Chernobyl. I now feel even more bad for FE fans being accused for being gross man children, by gross man children.
Btw I love how this game is assimilating more people into the FE franchise and bringing forth numerous newcomers. That shows just how awesome/intriguing this gameplay segment is and the hosts who explained everything in detail and answered many questions we had. Great Job Nintendo 💯😍
@Weston Meyer I second that, because it definitely has the potential to sell. Wait they're adding Edelgard to Smash? FE really does have a lot of representatives in smash even though most of them are really good. I just never saw a good reason to add Lucina when they have Marth. Anyway, I just know the hype for this game is huge considering all the new elements they're integrating and the fact that there's a timeskip which could alter appearances and gameplay drastically.
“I kinda wanna make Ferdinand a Brigand coz mostly I think he would hate the outfit, so I kinda want to force him into it.” THIS GURL IS SAVAGE 😂 POOR FERDI LOL
i bought the game right after watching this, they communicate so well their love and tenderness for the characters and their stories, i'm now at my third playthrough in maddening mode, i love it so much and i've never played a FE game before. I just came back to watch this video again! thank you to those amazing women to have shared their passion for this fantastic game so well
The next best fire emblem game that I would recommend playing is Awakening. It was my favourite before 3 houses but 3H kind of blows it out of the water in terms of scope, which is a longer game, bigger game and arguably better game. Awakening is much shorter and smaller in scope since it’s a 3DS game but it’s still one of the best games ever.
Thanks for showcasing this game. You ladies did a wonderful job highlighting aspects of Three Houses and ya’ll seemed to know what you were doing as opposed to the NVC crew. I was already excited for this game and you showcasing raised that excitement 10-fold!
I find it funny how both Fire Emblem and Pokemon both pulled a 180. FE fans went from worried and cautious to hyped and ecstatic about 3 Houses , meanwhile Pokemon fans went from hyped and excited about Sword and Shield to frustrated, worried and a little entitled.
IMPORTANT REMINDER! The switch store has two game vouchers for a $100 purchase. They can be used to get any Nintendo game on the console (including this one) if you want two games its a good purchase. Personally gonna use one on FE and one on pokemon (saving $20)
This was already a Day One purchase for me, but _holy crap,_ is this game looking better every time it makes a showing. It may not be for everyone, but this looks like one of the most unique FE titles to date -- like a big combination of different features from previous FEs, plus a bunch of new stuff. I think this will be my summer game like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was last year's summer game.
I have never played a Fire Emblem game before, but I've always been interested in this series. Coming from a new comer, this looks amazing! Hope the older FE fans are just as excited!
I never would have thought about a year that I would by hyped for a Fire Emblem game again, but this has changed everything!! Teaching? A time skip as well? What a concept!!!
I hope the you can flip between before and after timeskip. I like their original young designs and like them as teens so I hope there is a way to kinda keep them that way. I mean, that is their CANNON design. So my guess is you can flip between the present and 5 years into the future
@Stan Smith nah man, it's still Fire Emblem. Adding a calendar doesn't make it a Persona game, though they do have some similar features now. And I really like the new direction it's taking, I think all of the free time stuff you can do will be good for character development. Because of that, it's going to hit really hard if you lose a unit, way harder than some of the older games that didn't have as much time for character development
Its quite different from previous FE's, lots of additional rpg elements, dating sim and school life involved in this one, previous FE's did most of this behind text heavy menus. Its a smart move.
