+Brandon Hinkle I know it doesn't look like it in the video, but the ambulance was actually a good distance away from the intersection.

Saw another video where a unit from that station did the same thing. Might not look that close but both units that got cut off ended up in the other lane passing.

Ideally they should have been on the radio knowing they might cross paths with another unit and say “Mass Cass/ Heavy Rescue 50 whatever coming up on/ at the intersection of (give road name and cross street)”

michael eaton people have done that to me before. i just let them honk, i don't care how mad they get. i work in the fire service so i may have a slightly different take on this but i'd hold up that line of traffic for an emergency responder to pass, it's safer to wait than dash out in traffic and try to beat the ambulance or engine etc. people don't seem to realize that one of the most causes of deaths in the fire service is actually responding to the incident

FireRescue 50 still doesn’t matter they should have been on the radio trekking the other departments and crews were they were and then waiting for that ambulance and continued
