I really like the Stanley fry pan which has a thick solid base for even heat distribution and heat retention. The set comes with a lid, cutting board and a whole other set of items too. You did a review about 6 years ago and have loved mine ever since I got it.

Love the pour spout and the fact it's stainless. I agree with the need for a lid. Especially with that nice pour off spout begging for use. It would be a shame to drop your dinner draining off the grease. Thanks Skeet

I like how there were no hot spots in that pan! And now I'm hungry! Fun to see the easy cleanup also!

Simple 9 inch pie tin would be easy nesting, cover, and plate. We've been using quality pie tins from Nation's Giant Hamburgers Restaurants for years. In fact, carry 2 of them, one with a few holes to use as a steamer basket/strainer, and the other as a plate/cover. Dollar Tree sells some 2 pack, 9 inch ones that would fit.

Nice review. Gravel in SS pan made me cry 😥though. The microscopic scratches can increase food sticking. I'd boil a 1/4" of water followed by a scrub with plastic open cell pad. If needed, a few ml of liquid Barkeepers friend can finish it off, though I would avoid while outdoors as it has oxalic acid, or at least dilute area disposed at with fresh water.

I don't have Firemaple's skillet (already had a Stanley and a Pathfinder which comes with a lid) but I do have their 1.2L Antarcti pot and it's my favorite outdoor pot and i have a collection. I highly highly recommend it.

Never been a fan of Stainless cookware. I will stick to aluminum. Thanks for the video.

I'm the complete opposite! I love stainless! I'm glad we both like what we like! Aluminum is definitely lighter!

How does it all stack together? If you put the pan handle up along the side of the pot?

Great video and great fry pan but way to overpriced! Pathfinder has a lid/ plate and handle lays under the pan. Much better deal. Btw there is a natural way to season the pan. Check out some videos!!

hi, wanna know more, i saw your stanley adventure fry pan video and now i see this, what would you recommend? we know when it comes to price tag, stanley was the pricey one. honestly i just need the fry pan only.

I'm super picky about my eggs so....this demonstration doesn't inspire me to buy the skillet, LOL. That aside, the Pathfinder skillet is the same size, the handle folds under, it comes with a lid and is cheaper. Add SRO's burlap bag and you're still a dollar cheaper. I like Fire Maple stuff, but this could be better and more competitive.

I have the Stanley skillet of the same design and it's great but doesn't have a proper lid either. Has a green plastic topper but at least on mine it doesn't sit on the skillet properly. I also got the Pathfinder skillet and it does come with a nice matching lid so I'd suggest you check it out.

Pathfinder is the best. Lid/plate handle lays under the pan. Good deal less money
