I've had a ton of fun mastering my Firebox Freestyle technique. I'm learning to build my fire quite big at first with larger sized chunky style wood. Once burned down to coals I have a med/low heat that that lasts and can be turned up to high by simply adding one or two small sticks. By keeping the majority of the fire on one side of the stove leaves the other half available for radiant cooking which is perfect for slow cooking or warming. Moving freely between zones to meet ever changing needs is fun and the results are amazingly delicious!
