Black Cruze13 This video still does not convey the real intensity of the ride until you're actually on it. I've ridden many faster looping and even inverted rollercoasters that would be considered more "scary" as far as amusement rides are concerned. But this ride really scared the crap out of me years ago. I consider myself a thrill ride enthusiast and love epic rides, but this one really gives you pause for concern. Very Scary, at least in my opinion. As you can see its supported by four legs and is traveling in the style of a giant pendulum. But as it swings outward and drops low center all while rotating, the G-forces applied to you and its frame are shocking. You swear this thing feels as if its going to sling you off if not snap. Which unfortunately happened in Ohio. It was very unnerving to me at that time, and I'm glad I only rode it "once". And if you look at it design wise, you can see a major concern for metal fatigue involving its weight, speed and motion. Sad trajedy.
John Davis yes it does look really intense and i couldnt ride on that anyways i have blood pressure issues and take meds for it i rode the orbiter or however its spelled and i felt like my chest was caving in very sad that an 18 year old kid who had a wonderful life ahead of him had to be cut short
John Davis I know, that ride is intense and I love intense rides, but not this one in particular because I've known of many accidents on this ride and other similar ones, I rode on one called “Freak Out” its arms were different and there were only 4, what makes me think that is safer than this one because of the weight, but anyways I won't go on that kind of rides for a while, now that I know that this accidents even happen in the USA (sorry about my poor English btw)
What happened was the floor came back up while the ride was still in motion, this LITERALLY almost happened to me when i rode this ride but the worker ran and released the floor as fast as he could.. you always think youre safe on these rides

Not this specific one, but this same ride at another fair just a few days ago. I''m sure you've heard about it by now. It's been the talk of the internet this week. There's even a video of the incident you can find with a simple youtube search
Went on it last week have to say if this thing went any higher I wouldnt have gone on it. I like heights but height + upside down is like no because I feel like im falling oit of this anyway
TheSage 2020 me and the ride that broke in ohio was actually a really old version the ones at Wade Shows,North American Midways,Modern Midways,Reithoffer shows,Drew Exposition,and Butler Amusements are newer versions
desertdispatch never know, some might actual want to ride it more since it now is seen as more dangerous. I'm not one of those people lol but they exist.
The first time I went on it I was like, "I'll go on the side seats!" Not knowing it spins around -_- Long story short I ended up being vertical more than anyone else :D

If you search for a ride called “Frisbee” you'll see the big columns that are holding the pendulum and compared to this ride you can totally find out what could have gone wrong in Ohio.
Ed Alzr No, this isn't really true. Most likely, KMG has some issues with their manufacturing, cracks in steel, etc. this has happened before, but they discovered damage early enough to prevent an accident. Frisbee rides made by HUSS and Zamperla seem safer to me, just because I trust their manufacturing process more

2 things. This aint that bad, check out the beast, the crazanity and the kmg infinity. Then you'll see that this isnt bad. Also im pretty sure someone died on this ride, so i DONT reccomend it.
