My thoughts as a Lawyer: (1) Warranty terms say equivalent watch, which means - they can give a truly equivalent (same features) or a better watch (which will not miss out on a single feature offered in the originally purchased watch). If they provide a lesser featured watch then they would be in breach of agreement; (2) Irrespective of the terms of warranty it should be in conformity with the consumer protection law of India. If the contact does not adhere to law, then such contract will be superseded by the law of our country. (3) They have to respond in a reasonable time and give a proper resolution/ replacement in a reasonable time, even if nothing is specified (In the present case the consumer forum may take a view that already they have taken an unreasonable amount of time). If they do not follow up quickly and properly they will be in deficiency of service and be doing unfair trade practice.

Mai agar inki jagah hota to direct consumer court jata. 👍

This is the right use of social media by an influencer. Things like these can happen to anyone, in fact I had a similar issue happen to myself a year ago when my boat neck band stopped working after only one year but since I was living in a village, I had difficulty availing their repair service. in terms customer support noise and boat are the best i purchased noise air buds mini but after few months low sound was coming from left earbud i reset it multipe times but the issue still persists so i looked for noise service center in my city (bareilly up) but unfortunately none was there so i contacted customer service they guided me for pickup and drop service in which the product goes directly to noise headquarters in delhi and gets checked there so my earbuds went there they kept it under testing for 2 to 3 days and then returned back to me without any shipping charges i used them they were absolutely fine but few months later the issue started again then i again sent them back...without much testing they replaced my earbuds with same sealed packed model as the previous one was under warranty till now it's working fine.... one day while sitting in my car my wired earphone from boat got stuck under the door and one earbud got broken and thankfully boat also offers this pickup and drop service so i got a replaced same model earphone.... better go for noise and boat. thoda jyada lamba ho gya:) isi baat pe like kar dena love you rakesh sir your videos are very informative.

The core of problem is that these brands have no r & d and no manufacturing in India (may be some assembly done to claim "made in India" tag). They are totally dependent on their Chinese suppliers.

As in 2024, we are going to have more powerful mobile phones and the computing power of phones may be too much so we can use the mobile phone as our CPU. I am well known about this functionality of the Samsung series and some Motorola phones but if you can provide this information during unboxing it will be game-changing for your canal and also in the field of tech world.

The same thing happened to me in the case of boAt, while the replacement watch stock went out, i got an email about it if stock is unavailable we will send different watch of same features, at the end replacement took 2 to 3 days extra but got same replaced watch 😃

Reminds me of Corsair customer support but in the absolute opposite way to this. I went with a malfunctioning VS650 power supply which is their low tier product and they didnt have the same product to replace so they gave me a RM850 which is their top tier line up on the spot as replacement. Been a repeat customer since 2016.

Good work bhai. it is very important to highlight and expose these scammer companies. Often brands (sometimes even big ones) refuse service to the customer. Even Govt need to comeup with more stringent consumer laws related to after sales service.
