Thanks, but I took the dash light out. I posted an updated video on my channel of all the lights I took out and added. Check it out when you get a chance. 👍
Thanks! I actually put lights in the two back wheel wells, I have an updated video of them on my channel. I plan on putting some under the front two wells also but I need to raise the truck up a few inches so the lights will be visible because the clearance is not enough.
Code 3 Response - Thanks! The honey comb grill does get in the way of the lights at some points but I didn’t want to cut my grill so I just deal with it. I have close to $3,000 between the lights and siren. I got a few of my lights used.
Kluttch Kyle it’s actually not hard at all clearing intersections, between the front license plate lights and the visor light that’s visible from almost 90° in the front I have no issues. However I do plan on getting intersection lights for under the mirrors and near the running boards. I’ll be doing that in the near future tho.
trey camardelle what about mirror lights like SoundOff? I have seen guys install lights on their hoods at a 45 degree angle using wedge mounting similar to SoundOff multi mount light where you don’t have to drill through the body.
exactly which inner edge is that? and how is flashback at night? Do you have the takedown function or ability to use it as all steady white as a scene light with the one you have?
arotko5 it’s model IZ34UFZ, it’s a 2012 model. The flash back is not too bad because the light is flush against the window. Even if yours don’t sit flush with the window ultra bright lights sells a visor strip that will reduce the flashback. Yes it has the takedown ability, but I have no need to use it so I don’t have it connected
