True! I was waiting for the camera guy to help out. I thought he was about to because the camera came close to the ground, I thought he was putting it down.
Yes very sad. I had a house fire when I wasn't home and one of the little dogs didn't survive. The others went out through the garage and went into the backyard but one of them stayed in and didn't make it.
@@rhondas7804 I am so sorry for your loss. I know the pain of losing your animal in a tragic way while they were all alone without you. I will never get over it
To the men who fight fires: My God, you guys are incredible. Thank you for all you did here. You spend your lives helping people and animals in crisis. May all your good come back to you.
I work for an animal er and we worked with firefighters around our area to show them how to help animals involved in fires. It was honestly a great experience and the firefighters asked so many questions, i have no doubt they feel more confident about what to do.
This was such a horrible feelings being a pet lover😢,seeing the firemen caring the poor dogs💕💕🙏🏻......you are heroes saving these dogs and the man💕🙏🏻💕. The two woman 🙏🏻💕💕🙏🏻who comfort the large dog and assisted dogs to his owner your amazing that was so heart warming💕 . God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻first responders you have an amazing job be safe !
when the big dog looked at the little dog i couldnt take it anymore i bursted out in to tears he didnt even know what was happening and you can tell he didnt wanna leave omgg im crying 😭 😭😭😭
@linda Yearsley No, the little one didn't die because the cameraman did nothing. It died because of its size and most likely being a higher strung breed (beagle) and exposure to carbon monoxide and toxic gases. It was dead already when the firefighter brought it out. The larger dog was breathing, so it got oxygen first. You weren't there so blaming someone when you don't know the circumstances is foolish and thoughtless. Perhaps it was your fault for not being there. Maybe you could have saved it. Ridiculous!
I don't want to judge this man and I know he took one of the dogs with him, but there is absolutely no way on earth I would ever, ever leave my burning home without every single pet accounted for. I would die before I let them die
It was an engulfed fire, and he probably couldn't reach them. He's obviously very upset at the end of the video but everyone out here being so judgemental about a guy who just lost his house and one of his dogs. Smh the lack of empathy
M M well you dont know till it happens, I would definitely look for them if the fire wasnt too bad yet but if he stood around he wouldve burned to death, its just instinct
There have been people who went back into a burning building to find a pet and died. Not a good idea. Also, some animals hide during a fire so it's not always easy to find them.
Reale Treasures what if that was your house and your animals was in there and the fireman only got one of your dogs or cats you wouldn’t go in and try to find the animals are your kids
Those firefighters are true heroes!! Thank u for your efforts in rescuing & administering lifesaving efforts for these poor dogs. This is my biggest fear is a fire where my dogs are trapped (& I was a volunteer firefighter for years). 😥
YES & NO IN THIS CASE ! The little puppy was dying so anyone could help ,it wouldn't be waste ,or interfering ,of course ask 1st just simply " can I help ?" I thought the big one might not had been able to make it ,either ! Thank God she/ he did ! I wonder if the little one was related to the bigger one...either way so sad !
@@raquelortega2383 I said especially when they are asking for help. Sadly, I personally witnessed many times when they asked for help and people reluctantly helped 🤷♀️
@@raquelortega2383 yeah I get that they how to be careful and all that but I'm just saying.. Sometimes they do need help and when people won't help its really really sad
God bless the firefighters who not only fight the fires but also who try to save as many lives as they can no matter if its human or animal. I feel so bad for that guy. He lost his home his car and a dog. Thank god he didnt lose both dogs.
Not everyone is cut out to help in high adrenaline situations. If it were me trying to get oxygen on those dogs my hands would be shaking my heart would be racing I'd be a shrieking mess. Would you want me to save your dogs life? Fumbling with zipper and valves and wasting time cause I have no idea what I'm doing with unsteady hands? Didnt think so. There are more people with my reactions than otherwise. And even more people who refuse to believe theyd freeze in a situation like that but truth is you wont know until your faced with it.
This should have had a warning on it. I watched it to see dogs (plural) rescued, not to watch one die. I am devastated. Bless the firefighters for their dedication to helping even the furry victims.
I own a dog. People that do not can't imagine how much this fire fighter can be thanked. Risking his life saving the dogs. And yes I think that is right. It's just a dog never was a valid argument. Sad the one dog did not make it. Hope he saw the firefighters come in. Dying with hope, yet I am pretty sure dogs do not know that they will die. Until they witness someone dying.
Houses can be replaced. Beautiful lives like these can’t. Thank god they were ok, I hope they got all animals out and safe ❤ I’d like to add, if you leave any animals in a burning building and get yourself safe, you’re a coward.
Love those firefighters. God bless the man for trying to save the lives of the dogs. I'm so sad one didn't make it. How horrible. My heart would die with my baby.
Surprised not all engines aren’t carrying the animal face masks. Come in various sizes, not used for direct ventilation but do direct the oxygen much better. Have been carried on many units for quite a while. Many are donated by organizations
Oh man I started crying so hard!!! I hope the other dog made it!! I had a major fire in my apartment before and flames 🔥 we’re FLYING in my window! My first instinct was not to leave but to find something to put my 2 cats in .. I ran in circles for like 5 minutes with flames inches from my body until I realized I could put them in a laundry basket! So I threw them in the basket and bolted! I’m sorry but I could never leave a living soul (animals included) in a fire!
