What a terrible, terrible shock it was to hear the sad news today...... I got to meet him and the rest of the band a few years back when they played our county fair. AMAZING voice, all the way to the end. Rest in Serenity,C.J..
I know!!! My father died of colon cancer. I can't believe CJ was out there singing or even moving like this after having surgery for it and living with it. Bless his amazing heart. I'm amazed at his drive and I'm devastated over this loss.
I never knew until last night that he was in the fight of Stage 4 Cancer . Knowing how he endured , pressed on and held it in has lifted me in my battle with Stage 4 Cancer .. So inspiring and amazing . I was diagnosed in 2020 as well and not expected to live out that year . His awesomeness and the great music of Firehouse .. I am humbled beyond words . Rest in Heaven
Man its crazy that the whole we all saw him live he looked so good kicking ass live but inside he was battling a disease. Saw him in 2022 for the first time with tesla and its was like 100 degress outside and he was having fun and hitting every note
. listen to those notes CJ is hitting. hes 62 when this video was made. one of the best from that era, listen to those notes at the end of all she wrote, and the begining of shake and tumble. 35 years on the road and he sounds this good.., badass. we gonna miss ya brother ,thanks for all the great music. seen ya in 1997, 2014, and aready had our tickets for august 2nd plymouth Indiana. Prayers to your family and friends.
It's so damn sad that CJ is no longer with us. His voice and his talent never waned or diminished. He was one of the good guys in rock/metal. RIP CJ...you will definitely be missed.
Man. I saw them in 1990 when I was 15, and every time I hear these two songs I’m 15 again. Having lived all my life in the Charlotte area….Firehouse always felt like OUR guys, and still does. Rest in peace CJ, Your biggest fan, Matt.
RIP, one and only Cj, amazing singer/ songwriter, performer and a great human being according his bandmates, fellow artists, close fans and friends, thank you for all. Your legacy will be with us forever!
CJ not only sounded great but he looked great . What a class act. Man I am going to miss this guy. Seen firehouse a couple times with CJ and they where great.
Omg 😳 this is from a year ago and he’s dead now I didn’t know that this is one of my all time favorite songs damn I can’t believe it rest in peace Sir God Bless you 🙏
Saw them open for Winger a few months ago. CJ walked through the crowd and let a young boy take a video with him. That was pretty cool. Bill Leaverty is a damn good guitar player.
Bill Leaverty, Mick Mars and the late great Eddie Van Halen are the best in the business. RIP CJ Snare. Heaven has a awesome rock concert going right now.
@@lordofthe80s64 I caught them once live and there was another Guitarist it was the Warrant & FireHouse , Trixter Tour . 1990 I think ? Oh well then their Guitarist is even better then I thought those songs the Harder Rocking ones are a bitch to play . Been playing for 40 years and their songs took time to learn !! Respect to the Guitarist great Riffs and Solos .
