Lyrics:
Bye-bye baby bye-bye
And that was all she wrote
I got home late on a Saturday night
And I knew right away something wasn't right
I knew she was gone
She took all I had, but left a hole in my heart
Should've known it'd go bad right from the start
What did I do wrong
I can't understand why she would leave me this way
With nothing to say
Then I found the note on the door
It said good-bye and she don't want me no more

@Krrrimmi
@Krrrimmi 5 лет назад
@Doddy Rayyan It is. It's just turn of a decade. The '80's is the era for Glam METAL & all Hair METAL bands. Then the '90's is the era for grunge, Alternative ROCK, & popularity of Extreme METAL all over the world. (Thrash & Deathmetal.) Grunge & Alternative bands killed the Hair Metal bands by their cleancut nerdy image & their simplicity - t-shirts, wornout jeans, & vintage sneakers. Which became more appealing to '90s teenage girls & non-rockers. Then by 2k's. Nu METAL, modern rock, & pop rock emerged. & this 2010's is the era for Metalcore & Deathcore. METAL is simply just keep on evolving. 💀

And despite having listened to countless CDs already. I still discover stuff I haven't heard from back then, like this song. Epic bands throughout the 80s for sure. This band is so unique and unpredictable. Usually most songs have a super easy vocal melody but hes adding notes to the vocal melody that nobody would dare attempt. Just listen to the verse when he sings high then low then mid the low then high and so on. I'm a singer and what hes doing is insanely hard to do. The band is absolutely phenomenal too.

I've heard the same thing form metalheads regarding other great hairband guitarists and bands! I love metal as well, hell Maiden got me into hard rock/metal in the first place, but I still can appreciate the fact that that was the golden age of hard rock. There was too much good music to even keep up with compared to now. It is what it is. I could care less what people wore, looked like or how they performed on stage. If they're good the ears, who care!

@beachgirl4583

You’re not paying attention, or listening to the right tracks. Eighties hair metal was a showcase for guitar skills, and crunchy, heavy riffs. George Lynch of Dokken, Mark Kendall of Great White, Reb Beach of Winger, and Whitesnake, Warren de Martini of Ratt, Phil Collen, Pete Willis, & Steve Clark, of Def Leppard, Viv Campbell, (many bands) Rik Emmett of Triumph. That’s just off the top of my head. The lead guitarist of Dark Angel was floored by George Lynch’s playing, and now cites him as an influence.

that shit was not "grunge" what killed it, were the media and record companies. the first by brainwash the young and not continue to give to this type of bands (remember that in those days there were no social networks therefore the only means by which the bands could be known was through media either radio or tv) and second because seeing that shit depressive bands sold much or more than the bands "glam" said "good whether depressed kids who only know how to play three chords sell both miserable or more optimists and guitar virtuosos entoces from now on we hire only grunge bands "rockers. You know, I'm sure if the radio and television huvíeran continued to support and disseminate this type of rock the "hair metal" huviera survived without any problem during the decade of the 90s, reetings
