The Tiger is a mess, the German versions of it aren't even operational yet after 20 years. The problem with the thing is that it was designed for the cold war. In theory it's a much better tank killer than an Apache, because it uses an optical sight so it's much more stealthy, and it trades the Apache's armor for bigger fuel tanks, but all the major conflicts of today are against insurgent forces, so the Apache that can just wade in and ignore small arms fire and use its gun is more useful.

@OlderG0ds I think, the Apache should be able to launch Tomahawks ... no, just kidding ;-) anyway, we just should be glad, that most of these flying beasts are flying side by side in the same direction...

@OlderG0ds Seeing as the Cobra was the 1st helicoptre gunship, in theory at least, all following helicopter gunships are copies of the Cobra. As for Cobra being a POS, Cobra is rumouredto be better than Apache. I've heard many bad things about Apache but non about Cobra.. What more can I say?

@superwout The tiger is shit, they basically copy'd the Americans Apache's English are smart there like fuck wasting tons of cash on a copy/designing and making our own. Lets just use Apache's ourselves. They changed a few things on the aircraft but over all the aircraft is the same so they save money while at same time getting one of the most deadly attack aircraft's around. (Note: I said "one of the best" Not the best before anyone starts ranting at me.)
