Nothing work , this happen to me before and had to purchase new one , again same issue, was informed the prior on was defected. Not sure what going on with the Firesticks , but I welcome a NEW COMPANY .
Can not get my Amazon Firestick Remote to turn down my volume. On the set up where it says "put volume to desired...." Unfortunately I made it too loud. However I am now not able to turn it down now. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME.

Dan the firestick man, my stick and or remote refuses to to do anything. I've watched all the videos, I've done all the tricks and nothing helps. Can you please help?
@DFMTV4U, it's actually a glitch for some reason with the TV, and yes, there is a workaround. What I essentially did to fix it this is temporarily do it and will come back overtime. What I did was I used my one and only remote to claim it was new by pressing the button to pair a new remote and then when it asked me to press the button on my old remote I pressed that button on my same remote. It tricks the TV and to thinking it's a new remote then it refixed itself. It literally overrides the TV and makes it fix itself.
Nice break down... But unfortunately my Amazon fire tv box not syncing with the remote control ... All it loads up to an I think a set up account.. Which reads What's New on fire tv New version accessibly feature .. but can't get the remote control to work...

nope....literally tried everything you said, everything others said, amazon instructions....nothing! Remote was working just fine as I was setting up all my apps then it started doing some 1-2 minute update and my remote stopped working and it nothing fixes it. Beyond frustrated
I have followed your indications to the letter, many times over, however, my problem is the fact that every time I disconnect the fire stick from the wall it gets sent back to the screen, where the different accounts are located, how do I overcome this part in order to reset the fire stick?
you can use the Amazon Fire TV app as a temporary remote to select the profile. the app is free and you can use it on a phone or tablet. just make sure that your phone is also connected to the same wifi the firestick is. thanks
I did exactly what you u said n it worked it took 3 try’s, I was getting frustrated bc, it did not, finally I got remote trying to connect & at the same time the Home Screen appeared n I got the blue light n I heard it connect n click. The NBA finals is tomorrow n I got working praise God.
Please I need your help... My firestick remote control won´t search by voice command anymore. It seems alexa is not available anymore, I reseted both firestick and control to factory reset but it didn´t work
