@@meoutthispiece9015 given Purdy will move it around I think Aiyuk get 8 targets, Deebo gets 6, Kittle gets 5, CMC gets 4 Jauan gets 4 Pearsall will get 2 or 3 and PR duties. It’s my prediction on average per game. But Purdy is gonna throw 24-30 times a game and CMC might get 24-30 carries a game
Pearsal opens up the middle of the field and makes our play action game more dangerous. Pearsal can also open up the middle of the field for Kittle, Deebo and CMC on dump offs. His speed makes him an interesting fill-in when Deebo misses games which is inevitable.
@@naijahn13 yeah, Randy Moss, Calvin Jonson, Jerry Rice, Tyreek….he’s the most elite in the history of the game. Cooper Kupp? Man that guy can’t hold a candle to Ricky Pearsall.
For those moaning and groaning about this, you clearly didn’t do any of the PFF or PFN mocks. The plug n play WRs all go away by our Rd 2 pick. WR was a need regardless of what happened with Deebo and Aiyuk. They’re likely adding a 2nd rounder tomorrow to hit the other needs you’re thinking of
Should've traded back to 39/40, taken him then, and gotten an extra 3rd or 4th-rounder. Coincidentally, Carolina had the #39 pick, and traded up right behind us. Clearly the Niners were at least looking at a trade-back - they took 8.5 minutes out of their 10-minute clock.
@@blacktone72362nd round grade 9th ranked at the wr position me personally I like the player hate the pick to much talent left on the board at positions of need
I like the pick, im just hoping he puts on a lil bulk to keep up with his role in the NFL. Im sure Shanahan will put him on a lot of WR screens, end around, quick slats., things that are going to put him in harms way. I think he's a great compliment to Ayuik and Deebo. I believe this is more of a threat to Jennings than deebo or Aiyuk as Ju'an is on a 1 year contract. I doubt they will be able to afford him moving forward. I genuinely believe they want Ayuik to stay and will pay him accordingly. Looking forward to seeing what Sick Rick can do in training camp.
I think Aiyuk knows he's probably gone, but I appreciate him keeping it classy and calling the kid. By the way it sounds like the Eagles just gave AJ Brown huge guaranteed money.
@@dr.deborahbarr4389 Odds are this means one of them will be departing either this year or next. It doesn't make a lot of sense to use a 1st rounder on a player you expect to be your wr3.
Reach. Got to give it to the franchise. They will go out and get their guys despite the draft grade. See drafting a kicker at #3 when your secondary is weak. Dude will be electric on the field, but will be injured often.
I was really surprised when I heard his name could of got cooper or kool aid or even Mitchell from South Carolina but the chiefs did steal worthy from us but it don’t matter this kid has good hands and track’s the ball well and has good speed he ran a 4.3 not to bad
Niners have picks in the 2nd and 3rd and 3 picks in the 4th. There will be viable O-linemen in all those rounds. Lynch does his best work in the later rounds.
@@thatone49erfan there’s not much of him on tape . and the one handed catch is his only highlight. 49ers got him as a punt returner . And for some reason the gm and coach think special teams is gonna win them the Super Bowl
@anzspy5 I'm not a fan of the pick, but there is plenty of tape of him, i think he will be great, its just not a need. They did no draft Pearsall to be a punt returner solely. They did draft for that ability and then some. Kyle, no way, said we drafted him solely to be a punt returner. That would be plastered all over the media.
This is a trash fucking pick. His talent isnt our need. Unless we move off BA or Debo it’s worthless. And if we move off them he isnt a god damn upgrade over either.
@@einarjuel look up the fact after this year we have to either replace or pay lenoir and ward. Look up hufanga coming off an ACL and gip is gone so that leaves us with Brown and no real blanket. It would really benefit us if there was a player in the draft that you could possibly play either position available. I mean a guy would could do either or even step in now because he has the soeed to play outside, inside or slot. Oh wait there was FUCKING COOPER DEJEAN.
@@einarjuel the year we drafted Javon and Solomon thomas i said the same thing because we could have had Tristan Wirfs who I actually know personally since highschool and now not only did both bust our right tackle is absolute trash. Cooper Dejean who i also know if you dont see the iowa theme you are stupid is going to be special and we had him like we did Tristan Wirfs.
@@Joshua-ht7ll Juan is a one year tenner deal, Debo is injured majority of the time and ayuik is in a hectic contract negotiation you may not believe we needed a receiver but we got one and a pretty damn good one
😂 Head scratcher. NFL ranked him 47th best player, Niners picked him at 31? Why not be like the Bills, trade down for picks, even though they need a WR n traded their #1 WR away. Niners next pick is 63rd, that 30+picks away. Chiefs traded up for a speedy WR. What's Niners counter? Not a #1 ranked CB or more D-line or O-line help. Another WR? If not trading Deebo or Aiyuk, how is he used? #1 WR used as #3 WR. Why resign Jennings if he's not the #3 WR. Or why sign Taylor? Punts only ? If kept CB Jamieson last yr, he could been the returner n slot CB. Makes little sense, if keep Deebo n Aiyuk, 3 highly paid WR. Don't they need to pay Brock nxt yr. Niners do better in midd n lower rds, or they been lucky. No replacement for OT Williams in lower rds. Replacement for Kittle still unresolved. Hufagana n Greenlaw have knee injuries / contract yr concerns. This pick isn't a wow factor or fill need factor, unless Niners are trading Deebo or Aiyuk. Niners are running team, 3 WRs may be new wrinkle. Niners have loss 2 SB doing the same thing. Something got to chg.
