She’s ranger qualified NOT an Army Ranger. She has never been in the 75th Ranger Regiment. It’s an amazing achievement but the tab does not equal the scroll.

She has a great military accomplishment but going to Ranger School does not make you an Army Ranger. She went to a great leadership course. She is not part of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment and part of the special operations qualifications. This video is misleading to people who want to be a Ranger

It’s great she graduated Ranger school. Now she’s Ranger Qualified. To be an Army Ranger… you have to pass RASP (Ranger Assessment and Selection Program) which is the selection program for the 75th Ranger Regiment. Once she passes that and is assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment… then she is officially an Army Ranger. There are women who’ve graduated Ranger School and RASP who were assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment and became actual Army Rangers. There are a lot of people who graduated Ranger School and are not considered Rangers (just Ranger Qualified) because they didn’t serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment. Congratulations to her for becoming Ranger Qualified aka “Tabbed”. That’s Awesome!💪🏽

Watching these videos, only shows me one thing, That the DOD has not learned a damn thing about the use of Spec Ops, allowing woman to attend Ranger School only prevents guys serving in the 3 battalions from attending the main course THEY NEED to progress in their units, And woman being assigned to Spec Ops unit only prevents that element being an effective option for the military, I know this why, because I served in the 1st (RANGER) ABN 75th INF 1979 to 1983 HAAF Savannah Ga RLTW !!!!!

Week 1 Rap Week does take out a lot of people, but many of those are admin drops. Paper work, administrative, and someone not having proper gear. Not taking anything away from her, but those are the numbers. The school is hard both mentally and physically, but not impossible. She hit the nail on the head. One of the hardest parts is the peer game, it’s cut throat. Help out your squad mates and you will be good, but a calorie and sleep deficit changes the dynamic.

Ranger school is the Top Tear leadership school that the Army has to offer. Rangers fall under two codes in their records, V codes and R code. V codes are the ones that only went Range school. R codes are the ones that passed Range school and serve in Range Regiment.

Stop will the nonsense she not a Ranger because she never served in RR. Yes there is a difference, however the Army label them as Army Rangers. How many of you are aware that all Ranger qual are assigned with a SQI code on their MOS. For example if you are Airborne and Ranger tab- qual, your SQI code would be "V". Whic means Airborne Ranger. The Army regulation dictate that. So you don't have too officially served in RR. But we know the gold standard is the RR who we recognize as Army Rangers.

Great job for passing ranger school and being accomplished in your career within the military . I think most know about the difference between batt and tab school in todays climate of information (still not going to assume but most in here seem to know) She passed it I don’t think nothing should be taken away from that. I don’t normally comment but Seeing many of the comments are a bit much. In todays society most men may not like it but there a good number of women that can out PT dudes in without an issue. You got your hard rocks that do selections and make it those are the high mental dudes that kept plugging away. But She passed and many of us haven’t even joined to even get at the gate of school or batt, so just relax and congratulate. Harping so much on the tab vs. scroll thing and standard thing is petty. Plus she runs marathons and is pretty good at it man just congratulate her. ✌🏾good day

Ranger School is only a leadership course that makes you “Ranger Qualified”. It’s a school Army Rangers have to attend and successfully complete to be promotable to a leadership position within the 75th RR. If they fail Ranger School, they get kicked out of Ranger Batt. The only people who can call themselves US Army Rangers attended, graduated the Ranger Assessment and Selection Course or RASP and received the 75th Ranger Regiment scroll and tan beret making them a special operations soldier then being assigned to one of 3 ranger battalions. That’s it. The media spun this out to be something it’s not. Based off information readily available, she’s not and never was in any of the 3 Ranger Battalions. It’s a real douchebag move wearing that title like a badge of honor that hundreds of young dudes earned and ended up being killed while performing special operations missions. If she spent any time around Fort Benning or Fort Lewis where most Batt guys are stationed and tried to call herself a Ranger, it would not be a good time. Knowing the kind of cats that are in that organization, I hope for her sake she doesn’t make that claim because there’s a lot of dudes especially those who’ve lost close friends down range and from offing themselves back home that will have something to say about it.

For those who dont know ranger school is a leadership school that anyone can go to; marines, airmen, even naval personel. Graduating ranger school doesn't make u a ranger and it's an insult to rangers who actually had to go through the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program "RASP" and become a member of the 75th ranger regiment which is a direct action unit. We were given orders from higher, coming down the chain from D.C., to let the female candidates graduate. It was a political thing and we knew it but we had to give them a pass. Standards were not upheld, it was a political circus and here we are. We basically gave them the tab and it isn't fair to the men whom had to earn their tab or failed because they were held to a much higher standard than the D.E.I. female candidates we were ordered to make sure they graduated. The Army isn't what it was when I joined. I'm ashamed of what politics has done to our beloved Army.

@@SoldierDrewstop it. Have you read about Vietnam? The Army is doing the same thing now it did in previous eras...unless you're only going to just pay attention to what you see doing your own era.

Now my question is how many chances did she get and was she held to the same standard as her male counterparts? I highly doubt it. Today's military no. She was not hold to the same!! standard

She went straight through and yes the standard never changed. Last time i checked Darby queen is still at Darby, mountains are still in Dahlonega and the swamps in florida remain intact. Also, PEERS are a big deal in RS (but you probably haven't been to know). Everyone has to rotate carrying extra equipment and carrying machine guns plus tripod and T&E. A squad would not allow anyone to hide, especially a woman. You wouldn't allow someone to hide from rotating equipment so why do you think others would allow a woman to hide?

@@kyomubiangella1111 the standard was changed years ago when the first 2 females made it through. Came straight from the cadre’s mouth that they were forced to pass them. Overtime, training evolutions were either modified or removed all together. This stuff is no secret. It’s happened for SFAS and the Q course.

@@kyomubiangella1111 there was a green beret that spoke on the green beret chronicles channel not long ago about getting ran through the mud for standing up to the chain of command about standards not being enforced during special forces selection. This was while he was a cadre and in this particular incident, it was a guy that was pushed through despite failing the course. That shit pissed off a lot of candidates in that class. So if you think standards aren’t being lowered across the entire military, special operations and ranger school included…you need prescription glasses.

“First black person”? Wow. Who you really are is showing. Rangers have been around for a couple of hundred years, Black people have been around since God created man. I’ll let you do the math.
