Let's go to a restaurant where the entire gimmick is the chef being entertaining but not pay attention to him at all. Tough crowd is right. You did a stellar job.
Thing is I’ve seen this same gimmick for atleast the past 15 years, so I know those guys seen it probably over a couple dozen times already too. It’s like when you watch a movie for the 20th time but on your phone at the same time you only look up for the parts you like because you can replay the whole movie in your mind without actually watching, you notice how the ending show got their attention? It was new for them. Entertainers have a responsibility too to be original and come up with attention grabbing routines.
Out of style routine. First time I went to hibachi in 2006, they did the same routine then and all the other times up until now. They most likely seen this routine over a dozen times So they’re just going for the food
Woah that was great! You did a stellar job of trying to keep them engage. Unfortunately, they seemed preoccupied. Also, first time I’ve heard of the train after the fire! Good stuff. Subscribed!
Please excuse the bad English! The guests you are currently serving in the video do not appreciate their work at all. I would be happy to see such a positive person as you in one of our restaurants in Germany in Munich and can express my highest respect to your work and the love you show for it!!
@@Bayunicemay i ask, whats hibachi chef doing when theres no customers ? do u do kitchen prep or the kitchen hand doing that? sorry if u find it offensive
Been a hibachi chef for almost a year , 8 months to be exact & we actually prefer sometimes the boring customers 🤣 or at least I did so I could just cook and get out
This is sooo cringe it's embarrassing.. The 'cook' should have realised the patrons were not remotely engaged with his theatricals. The rice would have been cold by the time they received their meat and the 'medium' steak was, well, just well cooked..!!
Dude, his self confidence is BEYOND THE PLANET. He did a wonderful job, despite the tough crowd. I’m sure he has and will achieve great things in his life, no doubt.
The whole point of going to hibachi like this and sitting at one these sections specifically is to enjoy the show the chef gives and be engaged and social, these people all had their noses in their phones barely even talking to each other and it’s sad, I don’t get on my phone at all unless I have to while eating with people, seems like a rich stuck up family with spoiled kids here, nothing is personable anymore and it sucks, if you’re not gonna pay attention to the show and be engaged with the chef then let another party of people sit there that will enjoy it and go sit at one of the regular tables or booths they have, you wasted the chefs time pretty much
