I love watching your videos, bro, because the thought of working in a restaurant kitchen stresses me beyond belief You keep your focus and organization under pressure so well I worked in a kitchen for a time at a university dining hall as my student job, and I did not enjoy it… Constant pressure, not knowing exactly how to make things, not knowing where all the ingredients are, trying to remember what recipe I’m making while having to multitask, getting a severe burn on my arm, etc 😅
Its just years of practice. You're looking at the final version of a skill. Start with small victories in the kitchen and work your way up. You could be at this level in less than a year.
Cooks in small local restaurants are on another level. In the bigger places you're often doing one thing over and over at your station, especially if you are still starting out. Cooks in small restaurants have to be able to do everything at once. Much respect.

You do a great job. Cooking is very, very hard work. You need to see if I can get you a helper to take care of things like putting the sandwiches together. Or at least. Keeping you Stocked With bacon and sausage and such.
Love the videos but I gotta say, put 3 sets of gloves on. Much faster to remove and keep cooking without much delay. Something I learned in catering. Also, you should prep your egg wash in the am. It's painful watching you break all those eggs each order. Eggs will last all shift If kept cold. Taste won't change. You'd save half the time making omelets. Without doubt.
i can understand the cook but not the waitress. cook cooks for every one while waitress has only a section and has more free time than a cook. all the waitress did was be the messenger and then bring the food. cook is the one who made the food. i would rather my tip go to the cook(s).
