Heeeey everyone welcome back! I am so sorry for the huge hiatus in content - as you will see from this video, I haven't had a whole lot of time for editing... apologies! This is a vlog of my time in Spain for my first ever archaeological field school. This video doesn't actually show that we also had lectures and talks every evening but I couldn't film them & was also concentrating lol. Looks like you had an amazing time! I really miss digging, I'm stuck working on finishing my MPhil diss right now! Very funny though, wasn't expecting to see one of the undergrads who was in my human evolution class in Cambridge in this video (the guy sat opposite you in small finds cleaning clip). The neanderthal skulls are incredible, so cool that they've stayed in recognizable form despite all of the attached sediment.

Fantastic video! The site you worked at was totally different from how our site was for the survey field school and excavation field school this summer in Mississippi. Likewise was interesting y'all sorted and washed the artifacts together at the same time. Thats at least how it looked in the video so I could be mistaken. Regardless, was well with the watch.Thanks for the recommendation to watch this one. Heres hoping for more adventures for the both of us in the near future.

As a fellow archaeology grad seeing those sieves gave me major flashbacks ahaha it must have been really hot in Spain too! I’ve only done digs in England but last year I was down in Poole doing a dig and it was like 36 degrees and super dusty and windy omg can’t imagine how hot and dusty Spain must’ve been!
