The KDF will be in trouble in DRC, because the M23 rebels are backed by Uganda and Rwanda. Our army defeated them in 2013 and they went to hide in Uganda.

The moment someone carries a deadly weapon such as a gun, death becomes an inevitable option. Let’s pray for their disciplined and safe operation in DRC.

We all know how Kabila died, but not who did it. Okay, the man who did it was set free. Why was that body gourd set free? Things don't work like that bro. Congolese brothers and sisters are dying everyday by criminals going by the name M23, and you're talking of draught in Kenya while it has started raining? Congolese lives matter. What we are doing as a country, with our experienced and disciplined military is to give what we can, and its what we have in plenty ie peace. We can't give what we don't have. Peace we have, and we are initiating and enforcing it to DRC by engaging M 23 rebels by any means possible.

Somalia remained lawless until the Kenyan forces came in... Interventions from America, Ethiopia, the UN had done nothing also... Ugandan soldiers were only protecting key installations in Mogadishu but now the whole country is healing. Watch this space... Some sort of rebel movement was coming up in Kenya's mt. Elgon area in the name of Saboat Land Defense Force, you would wish to know what happened to them... The only challenge in the DRC is not competing interest groups but the expansiveness of the area to be protected.

@@NYONAMATENDE the drc has 120 armed groups in the east alone, each with a unique story on how it came to exist, an intracate system of domestic and foreign agents. The KDF can win battles against some of these like the m23, onlyfor them to reappear 3 years later. A weak state and corrupt leadership is the root cause of instability in the DRC, and sadly that can't be solved by a 6 month KDF intervention.
