Thank you for the comment. And thank you for my 1st super thanks! I know you have tons of projects going now, but I remember some of the first videos of your lance TC and your “Clapper”.
HUGE congratulations to you both, what an incredible feeling it must be to reach this point in the journey. Thank you for the many hours of entertainment you have provided us. Cheers!!
Wow! I've been followi g from the beginning and want to say congratulations! This made my Sunday! I'm in Pa too! Hoping to buy a truck camper soon for my pick up. So this series is over, What next I hope you keep us posted on your travels. Thank you again. I loved keeping up on your camper rebuild! John
190 trans temp seems rather high. I had similar temps in my th 400 so I installed a Derale transmission pan (with the cooler tubes welded in bottom of the pan) along with a Derale cooler 'with fan' up front underneath the core supt on my Suburban. It seldom sees 140 now. Great investment. Also use Mercon 6 trans fluid. Only slightly more expensive than Mercon 4 or 5.
Well done guys, from Texas! Yall have done a great job building and documenting your build! I look forward to your next up date. CONGRATULATIONS! Job well done!
Found your channel when you commented on Kenny's channel. I sub'd and look forward to more camping videos. You and Kenny make me excited to give it a try again. Cheers! ~M
Fantastic !! Glad to see you made it .But sad the Journey is over You should be proud of your accomplishment. Enjoy !!! Start thinking of your next project . lol
Definitely looked like a blast of a trip for sure!!! I love camping and have been trying to figure out what to get for camping in??? I’ve thought about redoing an inclosed trailer that I have or even buying a smaller camper of some sort?? But I definitely like not having any payments on things!!! All my stuff is paid for and really have been enjoying no payments for the past 6 ,7 years!! My parents have a nice camper and my grandma and grandpa have a really nice motor home also!! My whole family loves going camping but I’m pretty sure I’m the one that does more than all of them!! Lol! I’d definitely love to see more trips that you guys do for sure!!!!
Such an inspiration man.. I have some what same camper. I want to paint mine but iam going to use spray paint. Iam pretty good at spray painting. I only baught mine for 300.0 any way . So iam not going to do the paint job you did I think what I have in mind will look good enough. I can't wait to go camping... Yours is way bigger than mine and has a different lay out than yours. I think I like my lay out better.
Thanks! Yes there are plans to go on some off-roading camping trips, but I need to work on the truck and camper to get it more reliable for off-road abuse first.
The camper was fully rebuilt from ground up. I used some of the parts from the sunline camper. See my camper build playlist if you are interested. Thanks for comment.
