I got bumped up from Economy to First class (upper class) on Virgin Atlantic for my flight to LA! IT WAS SO COOL! Also the first class lounge clubhouse was honestly the coolest lounge I've ever been in. I think you can just pay to enter it when waiting to fly virgin so I might honestly do that more often.

The "feet seatbelt" is for if people want to sit with you whilst you eat, me and my parents paid for an upgrade (actually a lot cheaper than buying the ticket, just go early and go to the Virgin upgrades desk - handy tip!) and I sat with my mum to eat when the food came out

Thanks for the video but Virgin Atlantic don't have FIrst Class... ;) They have Economy, Premium Economy and Upper Class (=business). British Airways have all 4 classes from Economy to First.

+Sophia virgins upper class is a first class service with a business class price due to more seating. It's a hand delivered service just like BA's First where as BA's CLUB is trolley service and it really isn't half as good as upper class. I've flown many times on both and I'll always pick virgins upper over club. First of course, is first, exclusive and only 14 seats which is very private.

Sean, I used to work as cabin crew for BA, specifically as galley lead in First, and it really is a far shout from Virgin's upper class. A La Carte dining, Anya Hindmarsh cosmetics and silver service with one crew member per 6 pax in a cabin that is really ever so rarely full anyway. Agreed that the Virgin product is probably marginally better than club, but not as good as First. You should try it out if you get a chance.

+Sophia . As I said, it's not first, no, but I have to say it's not marginally better than club, it's quite a bit better. Your own limo to private check in, private security wing then onto one of the best lounges in the world where once again it's all waiter service. On board you have a bar where they make you cocktails and you can watch live tv on a giant screen, beds with duvets not blankets and much more. Club is great but it's roughly the same price as upper class and you get a lot more for your buck in upper class. I love BA don't get me wrong but I'll always argue when it Comes to upper Vs club. It's miles ahead.

3:13 The seat belts are not actually cushioned, it is actually an airbag as you have nothing to brace against in those seats compared to economy class. :)

I got bumped from Dammam to Bahrain. I live in Khobar so actually live closer to the destination than the departure airport. Anyway I got driven to Dammam by my company. Got upgraded for the 18minute flight. I got a bigger seat and got served water in a glass.

Virgin's Upper Class is amazing and I'm glad you were able to experience it, as well as their Heathrow Clubhouse. FYI though, Upper Class is not First Class. It's Virgin's version of Business Class.

Evan there is a seatbelt in your leg rest for people who wants to join with you for a meal and the seatbelt is not a cushion it's a seatbelt which can turn into an airbag for emergency purposes

I do not want to steal Evans Thunder for the next video, but I think he was flying standby. It basically means you have to be flexible about your exact flight time, but in return you may get upgraded if they have seats available.

just curious... when flying from England to the US, what is the drinking age? Does it change during the flight?

I would assume that until you land, it's the legal age for whatever country you left from. Only reason I think that is I remember watching an episode of Bones with a murder on a flight from Washington DC to China. They had to solve the murder and make the arrest before the wheels touched tarmac. Whilst it was in the air, it was still US jurisdiction but once they landed it became Chinese jurisdiction so it's probably the same for other laws.
