A lot of people said that they thought ariana would thrive in the school/social environment. But then she is in senior year in a new school and most of people would have their own pack/group already . And for social person like her maybe sometimes it could be hard on the first day . It’s hard for me too when i move school , i remember crying every morning and I couldn’t get myself to go , and my parents aren’t that supportive . but im sure ariana would be okay soon , we believe in you ari 🤍

I love the new kids’ styles they are so cute and I love how crystal and Aaron support the different styles because some Foster parents want their kids to look the same as other kids. And that’s why crystal and Aaron are awesome parents

When Brody was shopping for new clothes, he picked some outfit and said he is going to wear it on the first day of school to twin with his new brother, and he did. He kept his word. That's a great quality. Hope Ariana and Savannah get some happy time in school. Have to say Crystal and Aaron, you guys are so awesome. Love you guys sooo much. May noble triple gem bless you!

I hope Lucas did make at least one friend. He looked sad. I also hope that Arianna's rating goes up from a 4 after a few days in school. This was a fun Vlog to watch today.

I miss 😔 getting my Daughter's ready for the first day of school. Now they are grown beautiful women. And my oldest has 3 children of her own. I feel so sad. They are all in Washington State and I'm in Texas. I miss them so much. But, I got to see my Grandson just recently. It was such a Blessing! Like my Grandson said "It was the best day ever!" 🥰

When my twin boys finished high school they weren't sure of the direction they would take, so they each took one college class they knew they would enjoy. (English for them). They only had to attend two days a week and it still gave them that back to school experience and chance to experience college life. Might be something for Alex to consider! (One twin went on to college. The other worked at a grocery store and went back to College this year. Five years after graduation.)

I really wish there more people on this earth like you and your family. Due to my treatment before and during my foster care journey I have been left with significant mental health issues. Which means I cannot be a foster/ adoption parent. I love how you make things work and how you allow/ encourage every child to be true to themselves. You have an amazing outlook on life. I wish you were around when I was in the care system. Although we are in different countries I would have moved heaven and earth to have the privilege of becoming a petit. Your whole family are awesome. 💗💖💗

Gosh, what a lot of change for all those kids. I’m sure there’ll be lots of one to one convos with each kid over the next few days, you can see Lucas/Ariana needed it. ❤️ I’ve know doubt Aaron and Crystal can handle it though, and I’m sure they can call in on joe to have some ‘lads time’ with the older boys to make sure they’re settling in. I graduated high school over 40 years ago but I still remember I was petrified on my first day of middle school and Mom couldn’t come to register us as we were in a new district. My sister was a grade above but had no fear and she teased me to tears about I was gonna be in detention if I didn’t make it to my classes on time. The registrar at school was super kind and gave late slips to cover my whole first day if I needed them, but I didn’t.

When you were talking about the first day of school note it reminded me that one of my best friend's Mum would always write her a note and put it into her lunchbox. She would read it to us all. We moved a few times before I was 12 and I still remember how scared I was to start at a new school. I struggled emotionally and I was incredibly shy. It's didn't help that was sister was the opposite and made sure even to this day (I'm 43 and she is 45) that I know that I'm different from most people. I was diagnosed with high functioning aspergers at age 32 and I remember feeling such relief because it explained my personality and different traits I have. I'm proud to be an aspie even though my family, actually it's mainly my sister and her husband are quite mean about it and for some reason they never actually wanted to know how my brain functioned differently before judging me. My Dad thinks aspergers is something new and I've got to explain that I've actually had it since birth. My Mum passed away last year on Boxing Day and my Dad and I spend a lot of time together as we try to bridge the gap of loosing Mum (I have life threatening medical illnesses and complications) as we support each other. We live in New Zealand while my sister and her family live in the UK. I had to have a hearing test because I have a lot of trouble hearing what someone is saying to me if there is a lot of background noise. My hearing turned out to be perfect but the lady that took it said could you be on the autism spectrum and I told her yes and asked her why she asked. She said that I could hear fine but when there is a lot of noise, lights etc I'm unable to process all of it. When I told Dad he said to me that with all of these physical and mental issues it's a wonder how much I've achieved in my life. I'm very black and white and because of past judgement from family I asked if he was acknowledging it or teasing me. He told me that he is generally surprised by how much of a barrier aspergers has been for me and coping with no one understanding me since I was born. He said you are highly educated, a teacher held in high esteem, you survived abuse by your ex fiance and you fight everyday to stay alive while being so confused about yourself while overcoming so much along with having undiagnosed aspergers. I finally felt like my Dad understood me while acknowledging every barrier put in my way. I can imagine Aaron and Crystal are giving all their children reassurance that they are amazing just as they are. This family is the safe haven for so many children and there isn't anything better than unconditional love. I enjoy seeing such a loving family. If you read all of this thank you for taking the time to do so. Xx

Oh man! The first day of school, ESPECIALLY the first day of my Senior year was SO exciting, and so nerve racking at the same time. I couldn’t wait to get there, but I also didn’t want it to come either. It was a great first day of school. My Senior year of high school was my favorite year of school ever. I always said that if I ever had to relive a year of my youth and school I’d want to relive my Senior year of high school. Good Luck this year all you Crazy Pieces and Crazy Middles!!! My mind Is blown at how early school starts!!! In the UK and Ireland it starts at like 9/9:30am and finishes usually no later than 2:30pm for primary school and 3:30pm for secondary. The idea of getting a kid up at 5:30 to be in school for 7 is insane.

I so miss Aurora...just bit and pieces of her lately. Can't wait to see her start school...she will rock it. Aurora is really starting to speak better and better everyday.

I love all the kiddos and each one brings something special, right now though, Savannah is just such a bright light. Her interest in showing mom and dad love and her confidence in herself, soooo great to watch. All kids need to feel safe and loved, but she just absorbs every bit of the great things that a loving family offers.

I can't wait until we can officially meet the new kids! Everyone looked so great for their first day! I bet that big house IS awfully empty when the kids are gone. I'm excited to see what shenanigans Crystal and Aaron get up to with all the kids in school!
