I have a 2013 Sonic LT turbo hatch with an A/T, and I have seen 51 mpg on the dash with the cruise control set at 65 mph. I bought mine used from a relative, with 51,000 miles on it. Fortunately mine has the 15" silver wheels and regular exhaust. I don't care much for ricer cars. It's an ok car, but it has NO legroom in the back. I measured 3" from the front of the back seat to the back of the front seat. I rode in the back seat when this car was new, and had to get on my knees on the seat. Even my ARM will not fit between the front and back seats unless you move the front seats all the way forward, then there is no room in the front. I'm 6' 240, and I need the drivers seat all the way back. Not an issue for me, as I keep the back seat folded down anyway. For me this is a 2 seater car. Unless you are a car person and have some mechanical skills, I do not recommend buying this car, or any other GM car for that matter, at least as long as they continue to use dexkill "coolant" If you buy one new, you need to get that crap out of it immediately, flush it good with distilled water, and put in some decent coolant. Dexkill, or deathcool, or whatever you choose to call it starts out as a liquid, that over time turns into a solid, completely and permanently plugging up all the coolant passages in the engine. It took me almost a week, but I believe I was able to save mine, by doing some serious flushing and installing some good coolant. Only time will tell. It was already thick and gooey in the reservoir, but had not yet become completely solid.
My Dart has a 1.4 intercooled turbo, and a touch screen uconect system ( 8.4 inch ) and I have a CD player.. it cost around 28k( after all taxes and title ) 22k before. The lack of turbo whistle, can be fixed with an aftermarket intake.. The Dart was same..
Im with you Sam! Sometimes I don't feel like loading songs onto my phone. I already have them on CD or I've already taken the time to rip the songs off their CD to mix CDs!
