Awesome video bud, looking to see your journey of build the awesome sim rig. Ya Joel from AllIn1Gaming is awesome. He's helped me a couple time with items on my rig. Keep it up look forward to banging doors with you soon again.😆
Mounting the monitors on the rig might be a problem. The monitors are going to be subjected to a lot of vibration and rapid changes in motion. The outer monitors are going to require a lot of inertia to change their direction. That will reduce the ability of the rig to respond as accurately to small textures, so you won't get the same crisp feel as you will if the monitors are mounted separately from the rig. Those small events are the ones that make or break a good setup. You don't want to lose them.
Don’t let this video distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.
Nice setup… I was thinking to place the cut off motion switch as part of the dash but I was reading to place these far away from the wheel base cause it can create EMI
Watched ur CSX 3 review video this week and now lm just waiting for a video of the GSI Hyper P1 which you said you bought 😠 weird how no proper review video exists of that rim on YT
Nice work, il be intrigued to know how you get on with the monitor mounts, I own the same Auros Triples and found it difficult to adjust and keep them stable with them being so large. Rig looks awesome though, I didn’t dare mount the monitors to my motion rig so fair play 😂👍🏻 What was the name of the company for your new monitor mounts by the way, I didn’t quite catch it when you said in the video.
Nice setup! My PT-6Dof is on the boat from Shanghai to my mancave as we speak. 😆 Really looking forward to finally building my ultimate flightsim rig! Bought a NLR V3 seat mover a few years ago, but it never really felt right for flightsims. It's great for road vehicles, but not smooth enough for flight. As an avid flight simmer and real world -private pilot, I need the high fidelity of actuators or no motion at all. So...I just sold it. I use VR, so no need to mount my curved monitor to the PT and deal with that issue, lol. Did you get the belt tensioner? PT threw it in at no extra charge, as a celebration gift for their 10th anniversary! Nice and totally unexpected by me. I'm also glad that I'll be getting a much improved version of their motion platform, because they made a lot of enhancements to their original design. Many of those changes were from the advice of Barry over at SRG. Awesome 👍🏾
That’s awesome! I do have the belt tensioner. It ads quite a bit to the experience. I’m surprised you didn’t like the v3 for flight as I always heard it was better for that. I had a v3 for a while and it was fun but definitely had its fault.
@@AeroVeloce Yeah I had no knowledge of any of this prior to getting the V3, but based on everything I've heard from those who had one, my experience was the same. Great for cars, too jerky for flight.
@@AeroVeloceFinally started building mine and I noticed some significant improvements and upgrades over the original unit that Barry reviewed. Actually they're improvements based on his feedback. They've also shortened the sliding rods that mounts to the center bottom platform.
