Oil catch can it and clean it. Also oilpan filter is prone to clog up on those might be why oil pressure gets triggered often. Even if you top it off, you may couse wear and tear.

My old S3 was stock, 306hp If this is stage 1 it’ll be around the same power but lighter due to FWD, explains why it’ll feel quicker 👍🏼 I’ll dyno it next video to find out!

great video Hamza this car is a good combo, fast and cheap = more money on mods i got my hands on a really clean 2002 MK 4 Golf GLS with service history 2.0 litre NA auto only 89k miles on it guess you would consider this a retirement car, surprised at how well it rides and easy on petrol so far ,just wish it was a 5 speed manual, for the price i got it for i can't complain pretty well cheap as chips whole car is nice and straight just needs some tires my 1st VAG car since 1980 FWD always RWD Volvos since then, look forward to the future videos on this MK7 👍
Exciting stuff. In other news on my own car, I had my MK5 detuned back to stock to pass the USA emissions testing and it's so much slower than stage 2. I also just found out that the whole water pump needs to be done because they used the MK6 engine in the 2009 MK5s for the states 🙃
Great video Hamza, this is the sort of content that is relevant to 90% of viewers. Although, I'm more interested in the M140i hahah. That shiny steering wheel would annoy me, get a magic pad on it and give it a good scrub my friend ! That wheel hop / dash vibration is quite shocking, never owned a GTi so that was a new experience.

I have a 3door mk7 also and it definitely feels as quick as my stage 2 mk5 did, I thought mine was tuned as well but then you see standard cars dyno'd at around 260-270hp so hard to tell, looking forward to the dyno video, will be going is38 on mine hopefully this year

Definitely stage one, I'm interested to see how you get rid of the dreaded wheel hop, I've got a Mk7 GTi stage 2 with a load of mods, but next I have to do brakes and suspension, so really interested to see what you do... I'm was thinking KW with the DCC option and r line stage 3 big brake kit
I guess the overrun exists on some GTIs, my MK7 GTI (100% stock) pops randomly when I let off at 4k RPM at times, sometimes gives a loud bang, sometimes gives subtle double pops. it only happens when I put the DSG gearbox on S mode though. Weirdly enough, my friend's mk7 GTI does not pop at all in S mode I guess you got one of the unicorn GTIs that pop and bang lol
I've got a 7.5 230 manual and want to run a tune but worry about the clutch. Too many horror stories. I will be following this build to see what you do
Hamza, is it worth paying extra for a Golf R or do you think the GTI is better value for money and more fun to drive? I've got a 2006 Mk5 GTI and love the way it drives.
I feel like I am going to be alone on this but, don't do anything to it! I collect mk 7 golfs and I have a stock 65 GTi also at the moment an R and a GTE all with dsg - it's the GTi that makes me grin so much it hurts, they're so light & punchy, the dsg pops and crackles and apart from the occasional understeer heart stopper it's the only car I've ever driven that corners on 3 wheels - something the brutal, heavyweight R could never do.
You not getting clutch slip with it being stage 1? I’ve got a manual stage 1 performance heard mixed reviews about clutch slip on a stage 1 which is putting me off getting it done
