I’m surprised Captain you think we like battery powered RC cars noise from the gas powered engine is what we love ! No battery powered dead in 15 minutes😂👍🏻✨
This RovanRC's new budget BAJA RC Gas car is surely wonderful. Its build quality seems to be solid and durable, the wheels got a lot of strength and so the motors do! 600 dollars for one is not too much, but nor is it too less as one Traxxas' RC car may cost less then 300 dollars! Surely, it must cost this much because it has got that powerful bump/shock absorber with those DIY wheels and ski kind of thing with which it can be customized and, also it is too big in size! So, it is not pretty surprising to see its cost there. Overall, it is another fantastic product for, obviously, having lots of fun in open grounds! Another thing to say that the day before yesterday, when I was flying my Mini 2 from my balcony as always, our neighbours took of the big ol' Phantom 4 Pro!!! It was my first time seeing a drone flying other than mine, in real life! How stable it seemed in real life was unreal! The green and orange lights still look super beautiful! As soon as they took off, I landed just a few minutes before because it was 0% battery on my Mini 2! Fortunately, I had 2 more batteries fully charged so as soon as they took off, I also took off my Mini 2 again to capture that Phantom 4 Pro in photos of my Mini 2's camera! And I was successful! But, due to some unknown reason, they landed it in just 2 minutes as soon as I took off again... Maybe they are beginners, as noone has ever flew a drone in my area previously but me, as Drones in India are obviously a very rare sight! Also, Mini 3 Pro will be here in no more than 10 hours!!!
brings back memories. I remember the days of the electric MG mini rc cars in community hall. Then someone raced a gas powered offroad buggy twice the size of the minis 😂. That was 35 years ago. Nothing changes 😂🤣👌👍🙌. Keep having fun with rc hobby
Ha ha, So very true. When I first discovered the RC hobby as a spectator, everything was gas powered (planes & cars). Electric was unreliable due to poor brushed motors. How times have changed.
I love 💗 the rear wheel drive rc cars! I can’t do the gas powered cars in my neighborhood because they are super loud and to be fair I wouldn’t others to be running those here either. When you buy into a peaceful neighborhood you are looking for the peace ✌️ and quiet. Having said that it is fun watching you drive it and listen to it roar 🦁 in my headphones 🎧 lol 😂! One of my first rc cars was a Kyosho Rampage! Not as cool as what you are driving but fun none the less.
Come a long way since the gas buggies as a kid in the 70's/80's - had some that had little interchangeable plastic cams that would have different steering patterns. No remote, just start it up (fiddling around for many minutes) and let it rip to follow the cam path!
As I was driving my savage 4.6 managed to pass by myself and turn to watch her haul away but to my surprise I had driven right under a little suv. Really wish it had been a big suv.
It does look like fun. The limitation appears to be the driving course options. Unless you get up higher and can look down, such on a hillside, the line of site becomes pretty limited on flat ground.
The gassers are really fast and might be alot of fun if they werent so annoyingly loud, then you could drive it within 5 miles of the city limits and everyone wouldnt hate you. Now I drive my electric on my own street and even through the neighbors yard and everyone is happy
Wow Steve...Loved the video. Hmmmm....lets see....grocery's or gas powered car.🤔 On a side note. Have not received notifications on last two video's that you have posted. Just been happening to come across them on my own.......👍
RU-vid is strange. I often don’t receive notifications for channels I subscribe to. This is why I began, awhile ago, posting vids on a schedule (every Monday, Wednesday, Friday)… this way no notification is required.
Brilliant Steve mate. I had a great gas powered buggy years ago as was great as when run out of fuel, top up and go again. The only electric and battery etc was for transmitter. Now my buggy was a pull start like this, but buggy a heck of a lot smaller than yours. Anyway, a friend of mine after bought a buggy that was not pull cord to start engine, it was an electric hand held gadget that just was put on engine.... he clicked a few times (like starting a home boiler) and engine fired up. Do they still use these methods now with some RC Cars buddy?
I have not seen the electric start for the gas (petrol) cars, but have seen them for Nitro cars. I believe gas (petrol) planes may use an external starter.
Yes, you are correct regarding the electric starter for Nitro...... I think I just used word Gas as people world wide say gas and we in UK say Petrol..... it gets confusing at times, but yes, remember Nitro 👍
You are really RC fan. You have 2 the same cars with different interchangeable chassis) i think you changed location due to claims that you spoil the lawn)
Very cool gas powered buggy! Reminds me of the old Cox cars we used to run as kids. But these are on steroids! I know you said these are cheap but... they are a little expensive... Have you attached a GPS to see how fast they actually go? Just curious.
Yes, I showed the speed on the short track in the vid (that was from a GPS). My track was not long enough for full speed. My guess is top speed is around 85 kph.
Ummmm, yeah. The speedometer in the bottom left of the screen is no where close to being accurate. I have one exactly like this and it does not even come close to doing 60+ mph. That being said, the 1/5 scale gas buggies are an absolute blast to drive.
"Not that expensive.." ?!?! $500+ (for the "cheapest model" - high is $800+); not including at least $200 shipping (some want $400-500). A little "out of touch", ehh Captain 🙄 IDK what alternate reality you're living in but I want to live it!
Keep doing your google searches. I have many GAS powered RC cars and all were very inexpensive compared to the electric versions. If you want a 1/5th scale electric RC car, they are close to or over $1000. For gas, a 1/5th scale can be had for $400.
Hey Cap, After seeing this, have you ever flown any gas/nitro planes? I really love the authentic sound/feel of them when you are around them or they are in video!
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Show an RC buggy that's $200-400 with similar/close performance characteristics in vid.. Can't be done. $490 (low end) - $800+ (high) from the retailer links you provided. Not including TAX... and then shipping at $170+ (some want $400-500). In reality one would have to spend $700+ - $1200 for a similar experience. Not everyone has the luxury of receiving free products for shameless self-promotion. Enjoy your toys Steve; but try better to KEEP IT REAL. If not, this little hobby-channel of yours (that actually was growing; but sub count means very little compared to view count) will stagnate with no hope of punching through to the level of success I KNOW you want.
